Having used a premium massage chair many times in the past, I was curious to see how this smaller portable back massager would compare. Obviously this is not trying to be a full massage chair replacement, but for a compact pillow-style unit, it has more power than I expected. The massager itself is smaller than I pictured, but the motors do not feel weak. The rotating massage nodes have enough force to dig into the lower back and work on tight spots, and I did feel like it helped loosen things up after using it for a session. The heat function is also a nice touch. It warmed up quickly and added some extra comfort, especially when using it against the lower back while sitting in a chair. The main limitation is that the massage action is pretty simple. The rollers rotate in a circle, either clockwise or counterclockwise, but that is basically the range of movement. I wish it had a few more modes, such as vibration or an up-and-down oscillating motion, to make the massage feel more dynamic. As-is, it works, but it does start to feel a bit repetitive compared to larger, more advanced massage equipment. Fit also matters. For my lower back, the size and shape worked pretty well. For my neck, not so much. It just did not feel like the right shape or size to comfortably target those muscles. The pillow itself is soft, and I like that it can be clipped or strapped around something like a chair to help keep it in place. I also appreciate that it is corded. Battery-powered massagers are convenient, but they can drain quickly, especially with heat. With this one, there is no worrying about whether it is charged before using it. Overall, I think this is a solid basic lower back massager with surprisingly strong motors and quick heat. I would not treat it like a premium massage system, and I would not pay premium money for it, but as a simple portable option for lower back tension, it does a respectable job. ... show more

This is a solid back massager that delivers a surprisingly deep massage for its relatively compact size. I like that the kneading action feels substantial rather than just lightly vibrating against my back, and the rotating motion does a good job working into tight areas after sitting for long periods. The two intensity levels are useful because the stronger setting can definitely get pretty intense. I prefer having the option to start lower and reposition the massager until I find exactly where I want the rollers to hit. It works especially well positioned behind the lower back in a supportive chair. I also really like the addition of heat. There are two temperature settings, and the warmth combined with the kneading makes the massage feel more relaxing, particularly when my back is stiff or tired. The heat isn't the entire point of the device, but it definitely improves the overall experience. This is corded rather than rechargeable, which has pros and cons. You obviously need to stay relatively close to an outlet, but I appreciate getting consistent power without worrying about a battery dying halfway through a massage. The cord is long enough that placement hasn't been much of an issue. It's also compact and lightweight enough to move between an office chair, sofa, or bedroom without hauling around a giant massage cushion. I have a lot of back pain, so I ordered the JZBRAIN Back Massager to give it a try. It does it’s job, but there are better options. It is a small massager, but bulky front to back. The size is good for portability and I can shift it to different parts of my back, but it takes up a significant amount of space when I’m using it in a smaller chair like an office chair. It’s fine for sitting on a deep soft couch. I’m not sure if I like the controls or not. They are on the side of the massager. On one hand it makes it more compact, but also, when I am using it I can not see or easily change the settings. They are super simple to change, just keep tapping them until you get the color of light to indicate the setting I want. But when I ma using it, I can’t see the lights. The massage itself is nice. Of course, there are the shiatsu massage nubbins (for lack of a better word), vibration and heat. They all have settings that can be changed. It has an automatic 15 minute shut off that cannot be changed. This is another area that could be improved. The 15 minutes timer is fine, I can just restart it, but an upgrade would be to have different options of the timer. The cord is a reasonable length, but not super long. It works when I have a plug in nearby, but if I am working in my office chair it limits where I can roll in my chair while I am using it. This massager works well, there are just ones with better options for me for a similar price. So this is an okay value, but not a great one and I am giving it 4 stars. ... show more

This back massager is not strong enough for me. I didn't feel deep massager, my back still pain and this device is smaller than I thought. I saw it said it can put under neck, but not very comfortable for me. The quality is ok, easy to use. Just not strong.

There are multiple usage modes for the massager as well as a therapeutic heat function. Overall I found this massager to be a nice quality.
