I like the fit, the color, the material, the make and the numerous pockets. One of the reasons I usually purchase men's jackets is because of the many pockets. Plus the price was super. The hood fur attachment could have been better. Since I just purchased it, I can't comment on it's durability or how it functions outside in the cold weather.

Style, fit, look and quality. Keeps you warm and dry, does its job. And can be taken apart, some pieces of the coat can be excluded when not needed.

I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday, and I’m so excited to give it to him! I tried it on, and I know it will fit him perfect! I bought him a large and he’s 140lbs, 5’10! He’s a very lean athletic build since he plays tennis at a D1 university. His foreign teammates all have a very nice parka for the winter, and he’s been talking about wanting one, and this one is perfect without breaking the bank! The inside is so warm! The only complaint is that the picture does not accurately represent the hood quality. It is actually much thinner, but I think it’s fine after I fluffed it out with a round brush. I honestly think if it was much bigger, it would be annoying to wear, so I’m happy with it! I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a nice, stylish and warm Parka for a great price!

I don't own a heavy winter coat as I live in an area of the country where temperatures seldom dip below 40F/4C at night. I am about to embark on a trip where the forecast temperate will average -30F/-34C. A heavy winter coat was needed in short order, but as I will rarely use it, I didn't want to spend a significant amount of money on it. But I was having a hard time deciphering which coats might protect me in such extreme cold, so I purchased this coat as well as two others to try on. I am 6'/183 cm tall and weight 195 lbs/88.5 kg. I usually where a Large Tall in tops. Here is my quick analysis after trying each one on inside for five minutes each: JYG Men's Winter Thicken Coat Warm Parka Puffer Jacket with Removable Hood - I followed the sizing chart that indicated I needed an XL. However, I was swimming in it! I reordered a size L. This was by far the softest of the coats I tried on. The sleeves fit me appropriately. It is heavy weight, but after wearing for five minutes inside, the least warm. The heavy weight suggested it would protect against wind. I'm sure it is plenty warm for most cold temperatures in the US, but I need the warmest coat I can get for my budget. The chest pocket was rather shallow. I don't ski so unsure if it would hold a ski ticket, but it would only hold a mobile telephone on the smaller side. The front of the jacket, neck, and hood all close with buttons, which is significantly less convenient that snaps. The hood is definitely oversized. The fake fur lining negatively impacted my ability to see. Though I understand it is removable and would have done so had I kept this coat. There is nothing to secure the waist, so I feared cold air would easily invade my core area. I returned it. FARVALUE Mens Winter Coats Thicken Puffer Jacket Warm Winter Parka Padded Outwear with Hood. A Large fit as expected, and even the sleeves were a good length for me. But the overall length of the coat was the shortest of all three I tried on. I definitely felt it was not long enough and that cold air would easily invade from the waist area. The fact it didn't really have anything on the bottom to secure it, only magnified that concern. It was the lightest of the three coats I tried on, and although not the softest felt I was wearing a cloud. Although this is not down-filled, it certainly felt that way. But the lack of heavy weight also left me concerned it might not be the best in blocking wind. It was toasty warm wearing inside, so if that was the only factor to consider, I would have gambled it would keep me warm. The chest pocket was plenty deep for most mobile telephones. The front, neck, and hood snapped shut, which was convenient. The hood seemed a normal size. But, alas, I also returned this one. GAMYSE Men's Mountain Waterproof Ski Snow Jacket Winter Windproof Rain Jacket. This one fit as expected, with good sleeve length and appropriate waist length. It is heavy, though not quite as heavy and as the JYG coat. It was as warm, if not a tad warmer than the FARVALUE. It has a snap at the bottom that somewhat secures the waist. It gave me the most confidence of these three coats that it would keep cold air out. The front, neck, and hood also snap shut. It covers the neck very well and the hood is an appropriate size. It has a chest pocket that is on the smaller size; my iPhone 11 just fits. So this is the one I am taking to Northern Alaska. I will update my product review on that product page upon my return and real-life testing of how well it performs.

Really nice parka, just what I wanted! Wore it when I traveled to Norway and Sweden this winter and it kept me comfortable during my time outdoors. A bit heavy, but not unacceptably so given the warmth it provides.

Okay, had to rewrite my review because of the quality of the jacket and how fast it degraded in less than a week of use. Pros: + Warm + Good Size + Good Sleeves + NIce addition of a faux fur neck scarf on the coat that can be buttoned in Cons - Durability, one of the seams on the pockets came loose and I ended up losing a glove. One of the buttons fell off, no idea how or when, its just gone. - Zippers are low quality, there is no lower zipper on the main, so if you want to allow for like 'crouching' or running you need to unzip entirely. Pocket zippers are also bad, extremely basic and prone to failure. - Fur around the hood isn't as dense as seen on the images, expect 1/3 of that fluff, if that. - Fur around the hood is Zipped in, this is a plus and a minus, but its weird that that is zipped in and not the collar fur. - There is only 1 inner pocket, and I would recommend not using it... why? It looks like a afterthought of producing the coat, items may come out since the the threads of this coat don't hold up. I am returning this jacket, its a waste, and a shame that it doesn't hold up to normal use. If I cannot rely on this coat in 20F weather for 1.5 mile walk to and from work, then why would I trust this coat in a area that is known to get -10F or extreme case -30F. January is almost here and I need something that was inexpensive yet reliable enough to use, sure its inexpensive, but not reliable if it cannot hold up. Its a waste of materials, and a waste of my time.
