Do not waste your money. This is the worst drill press vise i have ever seen. The casting is rough and had to be ground. The whole thing had to be polished to make it work at all. Handles are cheap junk. I had to order another one from Grizzly. This one will now be used as a boat anchor!

    • It's Cheap for a reason!!
OK, for $70 I should not really complain but this is just loose everywhere. The jaws are not even flat!! The slop in the threads is huge! The threads for the lower slide are not even fixed to the body. There is just a dowel in a hole causing even more slop. The slides DO feel ok but if you were to try milling with this at all, you'd probably end up snapping your bit as the vice moved when it takes a cut. I'll probably make it work. It IS heavy weight but it definitely needs work to finish it off. ... show more
