The chair is made of a fairly comfortable material. However, after assembly, the vibration feature of the vibrating chair did not work. I attempted several different things, but to no avail. I contacted the seller, and Bella told me it would cost me around $150 to ship the chair back. I was a little irritated because, after shipping, it was already a $400 chair. But I relented, packed it back into its two boxes and went to the store to ship it. However… shipping was not $150. It was $969. So even after a return, the chair would be a net $500 loss, more than the cost of the thing. Another attempt at contact went unanswered. If you buy the chair, hope nothing is wrong with it. Bought for Mom who just moved into assisted living. It’s easy to operate and very comfortable. The lift mechanism is quiet and fabric is very soft. The vibration/ massage function is a bit loud but very effective as is the heat function.

The chair we got is gray (it is in the blue gray range) The seat is a nice width and the arm cushions do not take away from the seat area. It's very comfortable to sit in. The only negative so far is the padding at the top of the back tends to push your head forward. Using a back cushion helps. The vibrator works fine and is quiet. The price was excellent. My husband said assembly was ok. This chair eas ready for me when I came home from rehab center. Loved it!! Comfortable. Easy to use. I have fallen asleep several times in it. My dog and I snuggled in it the first day I ncame home.

The ad says the chair is rated for up to 330 lbs, which is great... but a 330 lb person is large and although we checked the sizing before purchasing, it seemed that it would work fine. However, the seat area from front to back was too short for the person the chair was purchased for, making it easy for him to slip off the seat to the floor. It was going to cost more than we paid to return it, so we sold it... for about half what we paid total (since it's not considered new anymore, even if it wasn't used). This is the reason for the 4 star overall rating; the seat size and return cost (it only cost $70 to ship to us, so why $450 to ship back?). Anyway, the chair itself was very nice, the seat firm and comfortable, and the chair lift worked great. I think it would be a wonderful chair for someone small or of lower average size. ... show more
