I'm amazed at how durable, function, versatile, and at a great value this overhead camera rig is at the price point!! for starters, I'm a 20 year YouTube vet and I've had many setups that never really cut it. this is sturdy af and the design makes it easy for you to add multiple cameras, mounts, lights etc.. the only minor con I have for this unit is the desk compatibility. you need to make sure your desk has the proper length and has the right ends to clip it together. I figure out a work around for desk that have awkward corners but be warned!! If your desk has corners with fixtures that aren't the same length as the clamps. you're in for a bad day.

I purchased this to set up an overhead camera and lights to do Youtube videos of my bench work. It is very stable and with the purchase of some clamps for my lights holds everything I need. I was pleasantly surprised by the thickness of the aluminum tubes and the grooves on the tubes prevents the clamps from working loose and turning. This would be great for anyone looking to vlog or show your work from a bench top or desk. There were cheaper options but I'm very pleased I spent the few extra dollars for a quality product.

I have been looking for something like this for a while now, and this rig answered and alleviated all of my issues. I now have a place to hang my lights, cameras, wires, video monitors and more. Very sturdy, low profile and out of the way. Definitely impressed with this product

If you are looking for a quality sturdy camera desk mount for not a bajillion dollars then this is a great purchase. I am very happy with how easy it was to put together and how sturdy it is. I use it to stream for a top down camera and also to record putting together crafts and puzzles and it's great!

I utilized this camera mount for a project recently. It worked great in that it came with a mount I could use for holding a projector up, it is sturdy, and it holds up well. It is pretty customizable for various sizes as you can adjust how many bars you use for the sides and the top bar. It comes with a little tool to tighten set screws to better hold the pieces together but you just need to initially screw them in as one end is setup to accept the other. I do wish it was easier to purchase additional bars to further customize if you're making it wider. In addition the clamp mechanism while it works rather well can be difficult to utilize on some tables. I printed out 3D printed shims to use to attach to a table more securely for this case but for many tables it works well just as is.

This is amazing for filming my YouTube channel Spacytracy Nails. I just got a adjustable desk and this is the best setup because when the desk shakes the camera is going at the sometime, Being that I do nail art this makes my videos look amazing even when the desk shakes. If you are looking to buy this don't think twice you will not regret it. You can adjust it no matter what size your work space is if you are filming for any reason. This has multiple poles and many different ways to add to the over head setup. It only takes like 15 mins to setup and extremely easy to use.

I've been searching for a way to convert my vintage printed patterns into a digital format for a long time. The pattern paper is too delicate to run through a large-format scanner, and nothing else I tried was practical. I found this neat rig, got the camera mount, and took straight photos of the pattern pieces on my sewing table. I still had do do some editing of the photos to correct the lens distortion, but it was a far cry better than anything else I'd tried, and resulted in a usable pattern that I could scale down or project from a projector. Now I just need to get the little lights to light the surface more evenly. Tip to anyone else who wants to use this for getting patterns into digital format: take a control photo of your gridded cutting mat on the table first, then shoot the pattern pieces on top of that without moving the mat or the camera. If you use Photoshop or similar programs, you can use that first photo as your control from which you correct size or distortion. Any changes you make to the control photo, make to all the others exactly. Make sure to take a new control photo for each session; gravity will make your camera's position shift even if you leave it in the mount and tighten everything. I'm very happy with this item, it's provided to a solution to a long-standing problem.
