I've worked from home for almost 20 years now. Prior to ordering this, I had about six different arms attached to my desk--it felt claustrophobic. I wasn't sure if I would like this setup but I wanted to try it as I was getting so tired of all the different arms. I wish I had found this sooner! My desk feels so much more open and I have more flexibility as to where I put my different devices. It is very sturdy and it's easy to attach and move smaller arms all around it.     • One of thsoe things I should have bought a long time ago
This thing is perfect. Holds my camera, holds my lights, and holds whatever else I can clamp to it. It works perfectly with those SmallRig clamps. It's also easy to assemble. I just have one tip. Each segment of bar has a tiny little screw thing, which is used to "lock" the segments together. Make sure you loosen them before you attach segments together. That way they can actually go in. It is cheaply made , and doesn't come with any of the mounts. Not worth 100 bucks by no means.

This is a really nice camera mount rig, but the screw handles are too large, and depending on the type of table it is being mounted to, the handles can get in the way and prevent you from mounting near the end of a table. This problem could have been prevented if they had used a round screw on handle. ... show more

If you’re looking for the perfect overhead camera rig setup, without bulky c-stands and tripods everywhere; then this is it! Definitely worth the money. The aluminum rods are lightweight, yet sturdy. And it assembled in about 10 minutes (that’s including rigging whatever gear you intend to put on it.) Currently we only have a GoPro and microphone attached to the overhead bar, but we will but looking to attach a DSLR to it in the future. I have no doubt it’ll handle it. I’ll also be looking into mounts for lighting with this brand in the future. 10/10, I do not regret purchasing this desk stand. ... show more
