When the bed arrived I was slightly concerned about the condition of the box. It had been pretty beaten up and torn open on two out of four corners. However the bed inside had been packaged very well. My partner and I (two women) had it assembled in just over an hour. It has quite a few parts so it looks daunting but actually comes together quickly. Instructions were clear. Final product is very sturdy and attractive. We opted to go ahead and use the box spring as we already had it, and even with the weight of box spring, mattress, my tween daughter and myself (nearly 300lbs) it felt secure and not wobbly. I would highly recommend this bed and already have. The price is so low, and the quality is amazing. Much more than I expected for the price point. The only one tiny complaint I have is merely cosmetic: the screws are silver with very large heads. So they are very visible after assembly. It would be nice if they used white screws or included screw caps/covers that are white.

I bought 2 of these beds for my granddaughters they are nice and sturdy. The only thing I didn’t like was there were a lot of chipped paint one the one and rust spots on the other. So to me the workmanship isn’t all that good. Bed is pretty when it’s set up with bedding and the canopy curtains. My granddaughters love there new beds so I guess that’s what matters.

The media could not be loaded. I assembled by myself, it was pretty easy. But they forgot to give me one screw for the bottom side piece. I took one from a less desirable location and the screw just kinda spins in there. I sleep alone and weigh 215 lbs. The frame can barely hold me. The metal sides are permanently bent. When I get in and out of bed the two legs on the middle sides bend and sway causing the metal to now be permanently bent. When I moved the bed slightly this morning because the leg is bent it’s making large scratches in my floor. Last night a random leg just fell right off, the screw itself snapped and the leg fell when I shifted in the night. I have to be extremely careful getting in and out of the bed because it always feels like it’s going to crumble underneath me. Such a waste of money, this thing is going to damage me or my floors pretty badly if I don’t throw it out now. UPDATE: I did not throw it out right away and a month later the entire bed caved completely under me. Those wobbly center legs just busted. When I took it apart to throw in the trash the main bolt screws were completely bent sideways. The bolts were not strong enough to hold my weight. Cheap and a complete waste as it cost me extra money to dump. Company should offer refunds beyond return date because this is a liability and a hazard.

Very cute bed, I am pretty satisfied with this for the price I paid. It took me about 2 hours to put together by myself. I had 0 assistance. Everything comes labeled and the directions were pretty clear with the pictures in my opinion. I didn't have any missing parts thankfully, and most of the bed was undamaged save for a few minor scuffs on the paint that is covered by my sheets and stuff anyway. But some of the bars were definitely a bit bent and didn't always fit correctly when trying to put them together for the lower part of the frame where the mattress sits. I had to hit some of the bars with a hammer to be able to screw them together. I also don't like that the metal decorative bars on the head and footboard have holes in them. It's not incredibly noticeable once you have an actual mattress and sheets, but they're a bit of an eyesore.

I'm big, and I was looking for a bed that would support my weight. I would definitely recommend this bed to other plus-size folks. Although other similar beds said they support the same weight, I'm confident this one does. It has more support legs than other models and is definitely very sturdy when put together. Not noisy, even when I move around. It took me about 2.5 hours to put together myself. I only had 2 problems, neither of which were serious enough to impact the rating: (1) some of the holes did not line up properly and it took some extra effort to get the foot board on properly and (2) there was some rust on the head and foot boards where the powder coating was not thick enough (not noticeable when put together).

Coming right out of the box, a corner of the headboard wasn't even fully melded to its proper counterpart. I figured it wasn't a huge deal in terms of sturdiness for the actual bed so I decided to keep it, until a main support bar snapped off on the right side and between my boyfriend and I, we are nowhere even near the maximum weight capacity. Altogether, it was nice for the six months it lasted.
