    • Almost perfect, maximum grams should be 21, not 16 and needs to be hotter.
Bought it at a retail store, so I paid more, but still like it. It pulses the water for better flavor, the pre-infusion water goes into the drip tray not your cup, and the grinder is more efficient than previous models. It has the great feature of making a flat white. It has a few drawbacks 1)Max strength is only 16 grams. 2)max temp is no hotter than 170 degrees for everything except the flat white which is about 145 degrees. 3)user has to back out of the program setting by pushing the back button numerous times. 4) water tank and bean container is small 5) drip tray needs to be emptied frequently due to pre infusion going into tray instead of cup 6) the temperature is not listed by degrees but rather by medium and high. 7) steamed milk does not come out hot, just warm. 8) programming is much quicker on z9, giga, and j9.     • European Style Coffee
I like my milk foam hot and this machine seems to be the only automatic that I have tried that actually produces hot foam like you get in Italy. If you like the American drinks, like the big chains, this is not the machine for you. But if you like European style, this works the best that I have seen. So not for everyone, but I enjoy it. Also note that some are 220 volt machines from Europe. I have a converter and ordered the 220 volt one on purpose. But some have complained when it was delivered. ... show more

We love this machine! We have 2 of them. Very easy to use - can program anything you want. We like Flat Whites (unbelievably easy and perfect) and mochas (a little more hands-on, but the very best ever). So easy to clean, relatively quiet and ALWAYS happy with our drinks!

Bought a Z6 a few years ago. Works well no equipment issues. Easy to customize drinks. Only complaints include milk infused drinks could be hotter. Needs ongoing cleaning...milk system, water filter, system cleaning tabs/decalcifying tabs...all expensive, but worth it. Coffee bean tray has difficulty accessing the last of the beans. Expensive for home use but gives results as good as Starbucks! ... show more
