Have used this machine non-stop for two months of quilting and piecing. The foot pedal thread cutting and speed control features are awesome, the machine itself is very solid and has performed flawlessly even sewing leather for purses. The included walking foot is the best I've seen from any manufacturer. This is my first Juki, and I am now a fan.

This machine is broken and the store which provided it directed me to local stores in my area for warranty work. I went to a local store and was told that there was a defect in the split tension stud which was compressed and not allowing the tension knob to tighten. I attempted to get this repaired twice and it cost me $140. The problem with the split tension stud persists. When I called Amazon this past week they told me that there was nothing that they could do. This is rather an extraordinary situation. I paid $1,000 for the machine and then had to pay $140 for a repair because I was told to go elsewhere by the vendor. Now, I am really stuck and when I called for help from Amazon, the person who answered did not volunteer to help facilitate a conversation with the vendor. I have had to resort to contacting the Juki America store (hope this works) to get a new machine or the defective machine that I was sold repaired. Do not buy your Juki from this provider. I will have to take a loss and I will either pay more money to get this defective machine repaired or take the loss and go to Juki Junkies to purchase a new machine. .

It seems like a great machine, but came with a defect. I returned it and bought from a local supplier. Amazon handled the return very conveniently.

Juki quilt machine are very nice independent. Order this Juki from this website on Amazon. I had to call them about a defect in the machine. They told me they could not do nothing for me that I had to buy. A new one will never use this company ever again. So we talked to Amazon they handled it great . Never have a problem with Amazon. So we went to juki junkie to order another one they are really reliable and easy to return and get new parts if necessary.
