My wife is a great sewist. She had a Singer machine for decades which she sold when we moved to the US. After a lot of research, we got interested in Juki. We were looking for a sturdy, comprehensive and not very expensive machine. On the other hand, we didn't want to buy something that after few month would need to be repaired. After few weeks using that, I can tell you Juki HZL-F600 is that sewing machine. It is easy to work, comes with a lot of features. The design is simple but beautiful and practical. There is enough space for maneuver around the needle & foot area. We couldn't be happier, and definitely recommend this product to every one. Thank You Sew Vac Direct and Amazon for carrying this brand of sewing machine. I've sewn on industrial Juki machines so had no doubts that Juki was the right brand. The features on this machine allows a sewist to go from garment sewing, hemming and mending to household sewing like curtains and drapes, to quilting "seamlessly". The transition from one function to the other is flawless. I've just finished a 108 X 112 king size quilt and this machine would have made that process a breeze. I love the exact 1/4" needle placement for scant 1/4" piecing that is flawless each time. I love the thread cutter. This machine is quiet compared to base level machines. The lighting, there are two LED lights, one over the needle one over the bed. The machine is intuitive and easy to set up and operate right out of the box. I played with mine for half an hour and started piecing another quilt. This machine produces a quality stitch each time. I also love the bobbin winder, fills a smooth tight even bobbin and has an independent bobbin motor so there is no need to stop sewing for bobbin filling. The free motion quilting foot is so well designed and makes FMQ a breeze. I can't say enough about this machine, I knew what Juki would deliver as I ran Juki machines working at Levis Strauss years ago. I am Not disappointed.     • Exceptional Buy!
I finally was able to have time to get on my new Juki computerized sewing and quilting machine. It is so wonderful! I love the needle-up needle-down feature. I believe it may take me some time to get used to all the computerized functions of my new machine, but I believe that I shall become more adept at sewing on my Juki after I have practiced awhile. For now, I have plugged in the controller foot because I am not used to a computerized machine and for now the foot is more practical for me to use. My Juki came with so many feet and other things as well. I am very impressed. The machine runs very smoothly and was easy to thread both the bobbin and the upper thread. Amazing machine, very glad I have it. This machine is TOUGH and will go through multiple thick fabrics without a hitch. Have also sewn light jerseys with no issues. Has a ton of useful stitches and features, the only thing I haven't tried yet is double needle stitching. I love that the bobbin winder is a separate motor, you don't have to disengage the main motor to wind a bobbin. The work surface is HUGE and very comfortable. The extension table makes it even bigger if needed. Intuitive controls and a good manual that is easy to navigate and understand. I love this machine... I've been wanting to replace my old very basic Brother machine for awhile and did some searching. I'd never heard of JUKI before but looked at every review video there was and had to have one. This machine does everything I will need or want for years to come and I feel it's easy enough for a beginners too. There's a lot to learn and I would keep the manual handy till you get familiar with the machine. It runs quietly and smoothly and I had it up and running in minutes after reading the manual. I LOVED that Juki HZL-F600 came ON TIME! The packaging was very thorough and secure. I appreciate very much the care given to making sure my new JUKI would not be broken during the shipping. Thank you Amazon! I used it the day after it came for one small charm pack quilt. It was very easy to sew. I loved the stitch cutter, the bobbin winder, and needle threader. It made my sewing go so quickly. I even used the Walking Foot which worked so well. I will write a review again after I have used the new sewing machine for a harder project. ... show more

    • I Love Juki Sewing Machines
Shipped fast. Took it out of the box and was sewing in about a half hour. Tried a couple fun stitches as well as stitching out my name. This machine works like a charm. It's quiet enough and it's only been a couple of days and I made a applique doll quilt to really test it out. I love this machine. ( I replaced my husksavarna saffire which I hated. After a few years i learned the auto stitch was a lemon for Saffire model. And that's why the thread would break constantly or the bobbin would tangle and mess up the stitches. Such an expensive $$ loss for me). This is my second Juki. My other just does straight stitches and that one is a wonderful workhorse. I feel very blessed after all these years of sewing to find these machines. Both bought online from Amazon. I reviewed the machines first from You Tube videos and researched other websites. ... show more

I really LOVE this machine and I have other sewing machines so I can offer a real comparison. At first, I thought it was a little 'pricey but after using it for several months, I have to say it is worth every penny! You can do things with this machine that are impossible with some others. The quality is there. Also, since it does so much, learning it all requires good instructions and the manual is the best! ... show more
