After 2.5 yrs of being in the elements year round (we live in the midwest), 2 of the 6 have burned out. The other 4 still glow but have definitely lost their "powerful" glow. So, 2 years of bright, fantastic glow and on year 3 we started to fade. 100% worth it for the price! We have them on our deck. Our neighbors thought we purchased something high dollar. We live out of of city limits and things can get dark without streetlights. These things did the trick! Awesome. I want to light my whole house with them. Had these installed for 18 months. Light shines for about 5 hours. The weak spot is the push button switch which can cause low and or intermittent light. I rewired to bypass switch and works great. Inside is a AAA rechargeable battery. Not bad for the price.

These lights were easy to install and make my walkway look great when they're on. In the summer, they last well into the evening, but in the winter when the days are shorter, they only last for an hour or so before shutting off. I have them on the north and east facing sides of my fence, so that's not the best light (at least in my hemisphere) - you may have more success if you have them on a south-facing surface. My other complaint is that they are either installed permanently via the sticky tape, or if you use the screws they are a snap to remove, which resulted in our lights getting stolen. The lights just rest on the screws using a keyhole on the back of the light. To remove them, all you have to do is pick them up. It would be much better if there was a bracket to install first that the light attached to via a screw. Or anything that would make it take more than 1 second to remove and walk away with them. ... show more

These are great lights at a great price. They are easy to install.. I did have one light out of a box of 12 that did not work properly. Please note you need to press the button on the back of the light before you set them out in the sun to charge.
