    • Numerous problems with fitment and with instructions.
Poorly made plus they used a shipper who beat it up badly. BMS7405 4x7 shed. Screw holes did not line up on the vent screens, vent cover, or skylight, so they did not fit without modification on my part. I had to drill out some of them to make them line up. None of the vertical wall panels would snap into the floor slots like the instructions stated. The floor slots were way too big, and/or the lower tabs on the wall panels were too small. They were all loose and unsecured. I had to put long screws thru the lower portion of the wall panels and down thru the floor to secure them. The instructions had a few mistakes that I had to figure out. Some locations for holes were blocked with plastic that I had to hammer out with a punch. I had purchased a Suncast product several years ago that did not have any problems at all. Quality now was not the same. Not happy, ... show more

The shed is fine. The value-to-cost ratio is low to medium. It is expensive for what it is; I will explain. The packaging is good and the instructions are clear. I did not encounter any issues while putting the shed together. Note: Ensure that you read the foundation requirements and dimensions prior to your purchase. The plastic walls and doors are decently thick and appear durable. I've had the shed for a few months now and it's holding up fine. The biggest con is the design of the shed leading to many gaps in the final assembly. If you live on Earth, there is a high chance little critters and whatever else can intrude will intrude. It is not designed to keep things out; instead, it provides an okay shelter for tools, but I would caution against storing cardboard, paper, or other items that you may not want exposed to the elements. You must evaluate all of the potential access points, of which there are many along the bottom, doors, roof, and walls; basically, any major connection is not sealed. I had to use caulk (lots of it) to properly seal it after a rainy, windy week allowed water in. The bottom floor is very thin, and you can feel it if heavier items are placed on the floor. The doors are not great. The netting that comes included to semi-seal the vents rips in about 2 seconds as the holes don't align with anything. You start to see all the under-engineering rather quickly. The value in the shed is in the reasonable build time of one day for 1-2 people. Other than that, I don't expect to use this shed for long and will likely plan to do a site-built shed of a similar size to avoid the plastic structure altogether. For about a grand with tax, it's not worth it. Maybe for $500-600, it would be a better value. ... show more

    • Doors do not align and drag when opened
I would have given this product, a four or five star review, however, the doors do not line up. We had a professional assemble The Shed, and it sits on a hard cement and brick surface. One door sits higher than the other. And it looks like the handyman put a wire adjustment on the hinge for the left lower door to prop it up and it’s still too low and does not align with the door on the right. There’s no means to adjust the height on these doors. It doesn’t close properly, seal properly for weather, and can’t be locked. Unlike other sheds we’ve had, there is almost zero clearance on the bottom, because the floor is just thin plastic. Because of this, the doors drag when opened. The walls are thin plastic. Definitely not suitable for areas like Wisconsin where there is severe cold weather. We are in SoCal and are expecting a rain storm this week so we will see how it holds up - or not. I think it will leak. I have a message in to customer service at Suncast to see if this issue can be resolved. How do you return a large 300 pound item? The Pros are it looks nice. Got many positive comments from neighbors and friends. It’s not too deep so it fits in our side yard leaving clearance for gardeners and pool service to get equipment through. It’s roomy and is tall so you can walk in. Just be sure to set on a PERFECTLY level surface. Or set up on some type of platform but then you can’t roll things in.     • Company does not honor warranty BEWARE
Bought this less than 2 years ago and the latch system is rusting. I asked Suncast to cover it via warranty OR let me purchase the parts to fix. They came back quickly and said that the warranty was voided due to an improper foundation even though is was professionally leveled and set on pavers which is all I can do in my HOA. I simply responded that pavers did not cause rust. They replied the warranty would not cover this even if it was on concrete. They expect the shed to basically be built in doors with humidity control. LOL they are nuts! ... show more
