They offer a great flexibility for mounting and angling if the solar panel. Often will see the light throughout the night - I live in Florida near beach. Greater than a year usage! Solar cell surface appears to degrade first. I have to seal screws holes to keep from rusting.

UPDATE as of 2/22/21: For such expensive lights, they should have metal posts, not plastic. As I attempted to just slightly adjust one light's angle, the ground stake broke off. Now I have 2 that I can't insert into the ground. A shame, bc otherwise they are terrific lights. I changed from 5 stars to 3 bc of this product failure. ************* I've got several brands of solar lights and these by far are the best. Much brighter than any of the others. I esp like the full adjustment possible for the solar panel - it's the main reason I was willing to pay the premium price. I just ordered another set of 4. BTW, the best tip I read is to splurge and buy rechargeable lithium batteries. The explanation is in the Q&A. I got lucky and hit on a big discount when I ordered yesterday. For all who complained the lights stopped working soon after purchase ... not one said they'd tried replacing the batteries! The batteries that come w/ the lights are Ni-AAs ... get yourself some serious batteries and I'lll bet your lights will last years!

These lights shine really bright and are great for accenting your garden shrubs and trees. We get about 4-6 hours of bright light every night (this will vary depending upon how much sunshine the solar panels receive). We ordered 4 just to try them out and they worked so well we reordered twice.

The lights are bright and will light up a large area such as a tree or the front of your house. They are also a good quality and I believe that they will last. The one draw back is that they will not point up more than maybe 45* so if you want it to shine up more than that, you will need to lean the stake back. There are 3 settings- off, dim and bright. They will not charge if they are in the off position. I would buy them again.

One of three used stays on like it should. The other two turn off when their path is crossed and then back on again once you're passed it. I don't see mention of a motion sensor to turn off the light, but that's opposite of what should happen with an exterior light.
