  • *** AWESOME ***
Color: Black
Took a chance after reading some reviews and as long as this holds up and doesn’t fail. It’s worth the price. Has enough USB ports to accommodate wireless keyboard & mouse and still have 1 USB and 1 USB c open. Setup: JSAUX RGB (12-in-1 needed for 2K or 4K @ 120HZ). Lenovo Legion GO: Dual screened with UPERFECT 16” 2K 120HZ portable monitor. Some have said their device doesn’t make the docking station flat makes it top heavy & uneven. Make sure cradle is pulled out completely and install your cables, will most likely solve your issue. And yes this will get warm to midly hot. If this gets hotter than your laptop running at high or ultra or almost feels burning to touch you have a problem and I suggest buying a higher wattage power supply such as a 1 USB c port at 100W. Under powered devices means they’re generating heat due to surpassing efficiency rating. Ask anyone who has built a pc before. More power is better than not enough. Performs very good. Played Helldivers 2 all night at 2K 120Hz with no noticeable latency, drop or tearing. Very happy with this. The only thing I did not like was not having a right angle USB C to go to the Lenovo GO kind of ruins aesthetic appeal. You must buy a (2.1) display port cable or HDMI cable to utilize 120HZ. ... show more

  • Works BRILLIANTLY with Lenovo Legion Go!
Color: White
I didn't really know what to expect with this dock, but let me just tell you - it is brilliant - it works extremely well! I do wish it came with a 100w charger for pass thru (since I am using the one that came with the Legion Go in a different place in the house). That said. I was able to get a nice one from Best Buy for like $30.00. That doesn't take away from the functionality of the dock itself. I have DisplayPort hooked up to my 27" LG monitor, using a keyboard and mouse, ethernet, and bluetooth directly into the Legion for sound. It's a premium dock, and yes a premium price, but it just works right away. Others are saying that it's "top heavy" with the system in the stand, but I don't have that same experience even though the Legion is larger and weighs more. At the end of the day the dock is small, concise works well, and is very well built. Definitely get this if you need a solid dock - just remember, no actual charger is included - you'll either need to use the one that comes with your handheld computer or buy a separate 100w one from a third party :-). Enjoy! ... show more

  • Serious performance issues
Color: White
Pros: This dock is nice looking. It has tons of I/O and a retractable stand for the device. Nice RGB. 100w pass though charging. Memory card slots. Cons: Gets hot. Serious performance loss. My ROG Ally reports that the Display port I/O is not supported. It worked great for about 20 minutes then began to see less than 30 fps and starts to stutter. I immediately unplugged and went back to my ROG dock with fully restored performance. I like this product in theory, it looks nice. In practice, it is very disappointing for 86 dollars. Edit: After some more use of this dock, my opinion of it has improved however, I do not recommend using the Display Port on this dock as it seems to drag down performance. I did download some more games to my Ally using this dock with a wired ethernet connection and the download speeds are great. I played more games using only the HDMI connector and it seemed much improved performance. I decided not to return this item, instead I wanted to try more features and now that I have I am changing my rating. I bought this to use the Display Port exclusively. I can't give it 5 stars because of the issues with the Display Port. The rest of the features work as desired. HDMI works great, Ethernet works great, charging works great. I am not having issues balancing the Ally on the dock as others are, that is fine. ... show more

  • Able use ROG Ally on a desktop and run ROG Ally at 30W “turbo mode” or up to 43W-53W “manual” mode
Color: Black
Just wanted to take a moment to help anyone who bought this for the ROG Ally and is struggling with reaching 30W performance mode or 30W manual mode. I at first could only reach 25W turbo mode with an error message on the ROG Ally’s battery icon that read “insufficient power”. I received the error message after plugging in the Jsaux dock to a Ugreen 100W power brick. The Ugreen brick did not come with USB C to USB C cable, so I used a spare apple USB C to USB C cable that I had lying around. The error message also generated when I plugged the Ugreen 100W power supply and the apple cable directly to the ROG Ally, and I could only reach 25W turbo mode. At this point I was sweating and feared I damaged the Ally. I then used the cable that came with the Ally and connected it to the same power outlet socket the Ugreen charger was originally connected to and plugged the Ally directly, and bam bam rog Ally was back to 30W turbo and no error message on the battery charging icon. Things were looking promising… I then took a leap of faith and plugged the charging cable that came with the Ally into the Jsaux docking station. I then plugged the Rog Ally back into the Jsaux dock, and bam bam! The Rog Ally was able to reach 30W turbo mode. After doing some research I discovered that most apple usb c to usb c cable can only support a maximum of 60W charging. The ROG Ally cable that comes in the box is a 65W cable, hence the error message when connected to the Ugreen 100W brick/apple USB C charging cable combo. I immediately ordered a 100W USB C to USB C charging cable. It’s important that you feed the Jsaux docking station with over 65W of power as originally needed for the ROG Ally because the Jsaux dock will also be feeding power to a connected mouse and key board which will utilize some of the 65W base power needed for the ROG Ally. The leftover 35W being supplied to the dock should be more than sufficient to power both a connected mouse and keyboard. The Jsaux doc should work with the Ugreen 100W charging brick and the new 100W supported USB C to USB C cable. TLDR: You need to have the dock plugged into either the chord that came with you ROG Ally or as most recommend a 100W brick, and also a power cable that supports 100W. It should also be noted that most mention updating the software on the Jsaux dock via a connected pc, but I did not have to take this step to reach 30W turbo mode on the ROG Ally. As of right now the product is working 100% as advertised and I went ahead and reated the item 5/5 stars. As for anyone who is mentioning that the dock does not support the device on the pull out device holder on the dock… Your device is meant to be slanted at a 70 degree ish angle with the weight of the device tilted backwards towards the dock. Have fun gaming/doing PC things ✌️✌️ ... show more
