This bolt down TV stand works great and is very well made. I didn’t want to use a wall mount as it was going to require drilling into the brick facing and I wasn’t sure how secure the brick was. The listing description says up to 55” tv but after doing some measuring I figured it would work on our 65 inch Tv and walla. It fit with room to spare for a sound bar (not installed yet). I recommend this for up to a 65 inch tv and I believe it may even work with a 75 inch. ... show more

We recently moved into a new home and I was met with a daunting challenge: figure out a way to mount our 55" TV above the stone fireplace, and the mantel I had to work with was only about 9" deep. The stand that came with the TV was too long to fit, as were most of the universal stands I came across online, UNTIL I stumbled across this gem. I went into this installation process with cautious optimism, because it seemed too good to be true that this fairly slim mount would hold the weight of the TV. But here we are, almost 2 weeks later, and this thing is still holding stable and the TV has not come dramatically crashing down to the ground. So far, incredibly happy with this purchase! Assembly and installation was mostly a breeze, with the exception of some difficulty getting the mount screwed into the mantel. Part of that difficulty was in the provided hardware. The screws could stand to be a bit higher quality, as they started to strip even when using the lowest torque setting on my driver. I made it work through a not-so-strategic mix of using a manual screwdriver and the electric, ultimately getting it to hold firm. I’ve mounted a lot of tvs and this one is one of the best I’ve used. Mounted solidly with included hardware to a solid wood surface. Easy to hang the tv onto the base and lock it on with the screws. There’s a nice channel up through the tube to hide wires. This is a 43 inch tv in the pics. My only complaints: the slide lock clip that goes on the top is flimsy and was hard to get tight (the unit is also held in place with the lock screws on the bottom). The tube openings don’t center when the base screw holes are placed square meaning the hole is slightly off to the one side. Nothing here that bothered me enough to decrease the score.     • Good unit for a reasonable price

Installed onto an existing articulated shelf that previously held a smaller TV. New TV is a 32-inch Samsung M4500. Seems pretty sturdy. Can't comment on the bolts/screws provided, as I bolted it the steel shelf using aircraft-grade hardware and the TV came with the right screws to attach the VESA adaptor plate. The little trim disk on the shaft does a nice job of making the installation look nice and clean. A couple of small points. First, the VESA plate actually blocked some of the connections for the TV...specifically, the component video and the digital audio output. It didn't affect my installation, because I'm not using those features. Still, the "scooped" sides of the VESA plate could probably stand to be a bit deeper. I have a bandsaw, and could have modified the part if I had cared. Second, there's a neat little cable pass-through down the center of the vertical shaft. Neat feature, but for my Samsung, the HDMI and power connections were near the right edge of the TV, so the feature was wasted. Third, I would have loved to have a dimensioned drawing of the mounting base, showing the spacing of the holes. Digging around in the Q&A, it turned out to be 4.9" in diameter, with the holes on a square 2.7" per side. Still, it would have saved me some work if it had been included in the instructions or even available online. The overall dimensions of the unit are on the outside of the box, but not the details of the mounting plate. THAT said, it won't affect most of you, who will just plop the thing into position and drill through the holes... The unit has a fixed height, which is probably fine for most applications, but it did put the bottom of my relatively small TV five inches above the shelf. A bit taller than I wanted, since the articulated shelf is already five feet above the floor. But then, did I mention I own a bandsaw? :-) Good unit for the price, but I would have been happy to spend $5 or $10 more for a unit that gave me some height flexibility. ... show more

Glad I went with this mount! I have a 55” TV, and my mantle is about 8.5” deep. Having a narrower wood mantle with stacked stone, I was having trouble finding a minimal looking mount that would fit, as all the others I found were too deep, and I did not want to/didn’t even know how to or even if I could mount into the brick. This one worked out flawlessly! I installed it myself it in about 20-30 minutes. The hardest part was getting the TV up that high on the mount without help. I centered the base, marked the mounting holes, pre-drilled small pilot holes into the wood, lined up the base, and drilled in the provided hardware. back of the TV mounts were quick to install, and came with the needed spacers. Piece of cake! You can turn the TV angle left and right very smoothly and easily. This mount does NOT allow you to tilt tv downward, but that is not a feature I was looking for, so no big deal. I think you can adjust the height too, but I didn’t mess with it as it worked out perfectly and left room for the Roku & Echo underneath it. Also my Funko pops can stand up in the space under the tv too, and I can turn the tv without knocking them over 🙂 Would definitely recommend! If this non-handy woman can install it herself, so can you! ... show more

I love this tv stand. It fit our insignia tv perfectly. It hasn’t had any issues of being too light even without being bolted into the wall. It also swivels nicely and smoothly so I can watch tv from another room in the house. It’s light weight and affordable.

Before I give the sparkling review, I need to make it very clear that I returned this item, not because of the item itself, but because of the display I attempted to mount to it. This is probably one of the best mounts I’ve seen in a while, at least for this type which permanently bolts to a surface. This mount had fit other displays without an issue, though, the display that I intended to use this with, has a very strange rear plate and mounting area. Because of this, I was unable to use this product. In the future, I have plans to add a shock resistant display to my Moab vehicle build. If, and when this happens, I intend to re-order this mount. I strongly recommend this product for its obvious durability, ease of installation, and all around great customer service from the company selling it. My return was swift, and my account was credited just as swiftly This company cares about its customers, even those returning their product. I will be adding this back to my wishlist for future consideration. ... show more
