This does not work with a T-Mobile som card. I even tried with a working ATT SIM card and it did not work. I think a special IOT data only SIM card is required.

I’ve been testing out this portable router to see if it’s a reliable backup for travel, and it’s a bit of a mixed bag. It’s definitely convenient that it’s a simple USB modem style. You can just plug it into a power bank or a laptop and it powers right up. Setting it up was straightforward once I had my own SIM card ready. However, the 150Mbps rating feels like a best case scenario. In real world use, the speeds were a bit sluggish, especially if I tried to do anything more demanding than basic emails or web browsing. It’s a device that gets the job done for the basics, but don't expect it to handle high def streaming or heavy downloads without some lag. ... show more
