Was a little hard to assemble but I don’t build bikes so it’s probably easier for some people. My daughter is 11 and 5’1 and this bike fits her perfect. It’s beautiful and the purple is so pretty. It rides pretty good but we did order different breaks because they weren’t that great and she is practicing wheelies so it’s important for her to have good breaks. I ordered this bike and it was assembled correctly, everything seemed fine at first. However, the brakes work very poorly — they make loud noise and don’t stop the bike properly. We took it to a local bike shop for repair, but they said nothing can be done — the quality of the brakes is just bad and they would need to be replaced with new ones. I don’t know how to return the bike, or maybe you can send us new brakes so we can install them. Right now my child cannot ride the bike safely. ... show more

Nice looking bike and easy to assemble. The only issue is that there is no pedal break (don’t know technical term for it) some bikes have a break mechanism if you rotate the pedals backwards … this bike does not. It only has a handle break. The handle break is a bit tough for my 10 year old to grip with her hand. It’s far away from the handle and you really need some strength in your hand to pull it.
