The directions were pretty good, and didnt have any missing parts. Its so nice to sit under it in the evening. Its transformed the back yard to a place I want to sit outside in. Its very sturdy, and looks awesome. I built it solo....which is do-able...but I recommend having a second set of hands for assembly of the frame, and installation of roof. I added a half "privacy wall" to make it a little more private (as seen in pics). ... show more

I like the look of the gazebo although I do agree with other customer reviews that the wood is cracked on some boards and there is some war page on one of the roof trusses. The instructions are all pictures not notes or words to describe anything and the images are small. Not sure if the roof center support is supposed to be bowed but it is and the assemble clamps for the center beam don’t fit as expected I may have to modify them some how as the clearance is too tight. Waiting for an answer the the center beam question maybe is is supposed to be that way. This is where the notes would be helpful. Will check back and update after further assembly. Update: so completed the assembly and the center beam turned out to be curved to support the weight of the structure so know that it is curved for a reason. Although I had to modify the clamps that hold it together slight to allow them to sit more flush. In the end it is covered by the roof cap so can’t tell from looking at it. Overall I give it a 4.5 out of 5. Have received a very good response from my neighbors how nice it looks and structure is solid. Had 50 mph wind for 2 days in a row and no issues. ... show more

We have experienced heavy rains and scorching sun, and yet, the structure remains steadfast and resilient. The roof's design effectively channels rainwater away, ensuring a dry and comfortable atmosphere within. Additionally, the option to install curtains or mosquito netting provides an added layer of privacy and protection from insects, enhancing the overall functionality of the gazebo. Assembly of the gazebo was surprisingly straightforward, thanks to the clear instructions provided. With a little help, I was able to set it up within a reasonable timeframe. there were missing screws, so we had to go find/buy some. the wood split in 2 places so we had to pre drill where the screws went, it took 2-4 of us a week to put it together, and we have built many things over the years out of wood, we remodeled our whole house. so this is not as easy as the web site said... and the wood was very dry. it looks good after it is up. but i don't know how long it will last before we have to replace parts of it. cost more than it is worth. ... show more

First, we stained it bedore putting it together. We don't like how cedar weathers. It took the stain well, one coat. The pieces were easy to assemble. At time during the assembly you do need a third person, just to hold things in place. Otherwise, two people can put it together. Aside from the staining process assembly took 2 hours. A couple of things to consider, having power tools for the screws and bolts makes short work of the build. Also, the structure does not do well with a slight slope. My patio is between 1 and 2 inches higher on one side just due to sloping for water runoff. When I tried to level it, the roof cross beams sagged in the center. I am not sure who gets the ONE STAR review for the delivery. I was given a delivery date range, which was wildly missed. Communication with the supplier was inconvenient due to 12 hour time differences. I was given new dates a few times and the delivery eventually came but by that time, my scheduled help were not available. Bottom line, if you like what you see, you will be happy with the final product. It will be the base for my outdoor bar and I am happy with what I have. ... show more

Well packaged, well engineered structure. If I had any negative comments, it would be that some of the materials got dinged up a little in shipping. Overall, the product is beautiful, good quality wood, everything is pre-drilled, hardware all provided, very happy about the finished product. The thing that I was most nervous about was the dimensions. I saw other similar products with smaller spacing between the columns. This gazebo fits perfectly around a full-size 84 inch hot tub. It is a large structure, so it takes a couple of people that are willing to work on ladders to build this. You can only build so much at ground level, and then you have to get up in the air for the roofing materials. Regarding the delivery, Amazon must have used some local LTL company that had a liftgate. Kind of a on organized delivery. Amazon still shows out for delivery, but we have had the product for several weeks. ... show more
