Pre drilled holes were all off. Poorly designed and it took way longer than it should have to assemble due to having to make new holes myself. Missing a ladder leg I had to make one of them as well. It’ll get the job done until I buy a new one to replace this one. I spent to much time to disassemble and we just moved in. This bunk bed comes flat packed and is very heavy. You'll want to have someone to help you move it. It requires assembly, which is a lengthy process. Make sure to properly line up the posts before tightening everything during the final assembly. The instructions are not very clear on this point. The final assembly requires 2+ people to put together as most of it is pressure fit with only 4 screws holding it in place. That said, the construction is solid, and it doesn't wobble, even without the wall mounts, but I recommend you use them anyway to keep the bed firmly anchored. The height of the bunks is great for kids. The bottom bunk is a good height for little kids and close enough to the floor that they shouldn't get hurt if they fall out. The top bunk is a good height for older kids, and the railing encompasses the entire bed except for the small space for the ladder. It provides enough clearance for the bottom bunk while not being too high. This enables parents to see both bunks easily. ... show more

This bunk bed is quite sturdy once assembled. The assembly is a bit daunting with unclear instructions and you will want 2 people to get the job done. Item was defective and some of the poles mention in the instructions Manuel was not there. For example it was suppose to be 2 set of 2s and one 1 one 3 I ended up with 2 sets of 3s.
