It worked once I figured out how to assemble it. It would have been nice if they had included instructions or assembly diagram but they didn't. There is an included warning sheet. As I had no idea how much water to put in, I filled it half way. After turning on, the pump was crazy loud so I put more water in. That quieted the pump. It appears that the pump has to be completely submerged under water. The lamp doesn't work very well. I'm guessing it is supposed to shine through the water tube and into the glass ball but it doesn't (see picture). It's cheap so I guess I have to give it some leeway. For the nonexistent lamp, I took a half point off. For not including instructions or assembly diagram, I took another half point off. I have it on my desk where it's great to stare at for destressing during my work day.

This tabletop fountain is super cute! It looks just like it does in the picture, it sturdy and well built, it’s super quiet, and it doesn’t take up very much space…So yes, it is small. I’ve had numerous desktop fountains throughout my life and this one is probably the smallest. That’s definitely not a bad thing at all, but if you were planning on using this as some grand centerpiece, well, you might want to rethink that idea. This works great in the corner of a sink or a little side table, but it’s not some grand piece. The directions that come in the box are also hard to understand if you’re a visual learner like me. They just came across as gibberish and nonsensical, so I went back to the Amazon page and thankfully they have a somewhat detailed diagram on how to assemble it. It’s not hard to assemble by the way, I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t going to electrocute myself while doing so.

I ordered this fountain I thought it might be relaxing to have something like this on while I'm working. It was pretty easy to assemble. I used the pictures on the listing versus the instructions that came with it. It does say to use distilled water so the pump doesn't get ruined over time. It does splash a little water when first turning it on so be mindful of that. I deducted one star due to no on and off button.

So this fountain comes with no instructions on how to set it up. It's not that hard to figure out but honestly...how hard would it be to include some simple instructions? I'd recommend opening and unpacking it outside as the thin was covered in dust from the rocks. Which by the way...look like rocks you'd find one someones yard. They are definitely river rocks but not polished or shined in any way shape or form. The fountain itself works fine but if you're looking for the soothing sounds of the water flowing this is NOT the fountain for you. Can barely hear it at all...very quiet. The gazing ball on top spins nicely though and does have some light inside it though not very bright. Overall...can't really recommend this...there are absolutely better options out there in my opinion.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been impressed with this little waterfall. It was fairly easy to assemble. The directions had a good diagram of what goes where. There isn’t much noise when it’s running, it’s pretty much silent. A couple things that I don’t like is that the pump is not low voltage, it has a 120v cord going straight to it. I’ve never seen a little water pump that runs off line voltage, just seems a little dangerous. The other issue is that there is no on/off switch, it just plugs in. Otherwise it works very well. It seems well made and is aesthetically pleasing. I do recommend this as it is relaxing, affordably priced, and would make a nice gift.

I adore this little table-top fountain by JOYENERGY ! Beautifully manufactured, well packaged against damage in shipment and flawless on arrival this incredibly cute design is the perfect little accent to your porch or balcony. Easily assembled just slide the light ring and attach the little pump to the fountain's hose, fill with water and you are ready to enjoy it. I chose the "rock" style and it is lovely, very rustic, and the fountain comes with a small bag of pebbles to cover the baseplate. What is really beautiful is the the glass ball which sits atop the fountain, it rotates via the water and spreads the projected light at night which is totally charming. The instructions do advise using only distilled water for it to preserve the pump and operation but this fountain only takes a bit of water at a time so a gallon of distilled water should last awhile. This table top fountain has added a very interesting, very, very lovely addition to my porch. I am very, very, very happy with this item---thank you!

This is a nice little desktop fountain. It goes together very easily. The LED light is connected to the pump, and you put it up the hose that connects to the top of the fountain, so that the light itself, is not in the water. You then connect the hose to the fountain top, put the pump in the bottom, fit the top over it, fill it with water, and then plug it in. Put the marble on top, and it spins around nice and fast, shooting colors out a little bit, from the LED light. It comes with a bag of pebbles as well. I didn't put the pebbles in, personally. I think it looks fine as it is, and I don't need anything that my toddler might mistake as candy in the house. Small and nice, very relaxing to watch, if you're into the zen sort of thing.

I got this one for my son as he liked a larger one that I had. This is small but still cute. The spinning lighted ball is a nice effect and pleasing to watch. I like the loose rocks, makes it seem more outdoorsy. I have to add distilled water every few days though as it will stop working and the pump can get damaged.
