Cutting is easy, but ensuring everything is straight is a little awkward. with it being a plastic fabric of sorts, making sure you have straight lines can be a little difficult. but absolutely no light comes through the fabric

Easy to install and remove, despite no included instructions. Need to use heavy duty scissors to make clean cuts (kitchen shears will do fine). Silver side goes out, velcro tabs hold strong. Make sure to cut extra material at the corners to allow for the velcro pieces, or you'll have light showing. Enough material to cover 2 larger windows. Comes with a storage bag for left over pieces. Using in bedroom windows that get all afternoon sun. Has stayed cool so far, but we've only hit about 90. Like the hook and loop for easy removal and re-attachment.
