I have case windows that slide up. As such you can't really drill for blinds and the sides of the windows are open channels. I ordered these because the width allows for the foot to go across the channel. I am so happy with these. Easy to install, really darken a room and look nice. I started with 1 just to see and ordered 4 more. I'll be ordering for every window in my house. They tuck up nice when you don't want them or completely black out a room when they are down. Blinds cannot be put up they arrived with missing parts. Joydeco email address they supply they never respond to email. Joydeco phone number does not ever answer. Amazon was useless in resolving as well. Terrible service, complete waste of time and money.
