I like these Roman shades enough that I plan to order more for our bedroom so I can get a truly blacked-out room. The linen fabric has a nice, clean look and feels much more finished than basic blinds. It fits my office window perfectly and the measurements are accurate. The cost is an absolute steal for the quality of the fabric and similar to some of the custom linen materials that I paid $150 Each. Comparing to other brands, these are roughly 20% less than other brands and far superior in quality. The material is thick, soft but strong, feel luxurious and will last. The blackout effect is very good and makes a noticeable difference with both sunlight and privacy. I also appreciate the cordless design, and the no-drill installation makes them much easier to put up without turning the project into a major ordeal. They feel well made, look attractive once installed, and are a good option for bedrooms or any room where you want to reduce light without sacrificing style. The fabric also gives them a softer appearance than many traditional blackout shades. My only complaint is that I wish they were available in smaller sizes for bathroom windows. I would happily use the same style throughout more of the house if there were additional size options. Overall, these are attractive, functional, and easy to install. I like them enough that I’ll be purchasing more.

This is by far the easiest shade I have ever put up. You definitely want to make sure you measure your window correctly but no drill is needed. The spring tension makes it easy to put up the blinds. You just squeeze the sides and slip it into the windowsill. A screwdriver is included to tighten the screws once the blinds are in place. The fabric is attached to Velcro, and you pull it back to adjust the screws. But also helpful when you need to clean the blinds, so you are not trying to do so while they are hanging or having to go through the process of taking them fully down. The interior is linen (or faux linen) while the exterior (facing outside) looks like a faux leather. The material is very thick. I would not say this is fully black out but does a decent job keeping the light out. Light comes in on the sides and through little holes. I ordered the linen color, so dust does not show as much. It is also neutral so works with pretty much any color scheme.

Hm. Well, I got these Roman shades and for me and my timer, it took about two minutes flat, which was a great right off the bat. Operating them, I have found, is just as simple, as they pull up and glide down effortlessly. While they do block out a good chunk of sunlight, calling them true blackout shades is a BIG stretch. Bright light blasts through along the sides, and every single sewn-on panel has a line of tiny pinholes along the seam that lets pinpricks of light filter through, making the construction look pretty low quality. Really. I installed it at night, and by morning, I was stunned by how unattractive they look with all those holes. They are definitely better than having bare windows, but they fall short if you need complete room darkening. Can't recommend at all.

These no drill cordless roman shades from Joydeco were a nice surprise for the price. Elegant window treatments are always very expensive but these shades give you the elegant upscale look of roman shades for less. I think these shades look best on shorter windows in bathrooms and bedrooms rather than tall living area windows but they will compliment and provide light blocking assistance in any area of your home. The installation was very easy and took almost no time at all. Just measure inside your window box and the top of this shade works almost exactly like a tension curtain rod. The spring inside will hold it securely in place against your wood or drywall then just tighten with the enclosed screwdriver. The shade attaches with hooks and loops and it raises and lowers so easily and smoothly. If the material is wrinkled it will fall out after it has been hanging a few days and it looks like authentic linen and upgrades my bathroom aesthetic. If you can hold your arms a little above your shoulders long enough to get the rod spring set and curtain attached you will have no problem installing this without assistance. It effectively blocks heat and most light from coming through an east facing bathroom window and has already helped with cooling efficiency.

We've been needing a shade in a front room window for a long time and this was a good chance to tick that box. I hate installing shades and these sounded intriguing. The target window is a casement, and does not have a deep box to drill any screws. My main tip here is to measure carefully and read the listing for instructions. I picked the size that was recommended for my window. When I went to install it, it truly was extremely easy, even with the shallow area I had to work with. The springy mechanism keeps it in place. The roman shade style needs no cords, which I love, and the color is a kind of perfect neutral to go with just about anything. Now, about the "100% blackout" claim. It's close. I don't need it to be 100%. But if you do, I would say your results may vary depending on the actual width of your window. The material IS thick and it will help. My best guess is something closer to 95%. Overall I think these are a good value for the price, material, and easy installation.

These look a lot nicer in person than I expected. The linen fabric gives them a softer, more finished look than regular blinds, and I really like that there are no cords hanging down. Installation was pretty straightforward and not having to drill into the wall was a huge plus. They do a good job darkening the room and cutting down on the harsh sunlight without making the window look bulky.

I picked up these shades for our bedroom, and overall, I’m really happy with how they look and function. The drill-free installation was a huge selling point for me since I didn't want to mess around with anchors or damage the window trim, and the tension mechanism held up surprisingly well during mounting. The white linen fabric gives the room a nice, soft texture that instantly upgraded the space, and the blackout lining genuinely blocks out light and cuts down on midday heat. The cordless lift is smooth and feels clean with no messy strings hanging down. The only reason I’m taking off one star is that the width is exact, if your window frame has even the slightest variance, you might get a tiny sliver of light leakage along the side edges. If you're looking for a hassle-free, drill-less blackout solution that looks more expensive than it is, these are definitely worth a try, just make sure your window measurements are tight!
