I had to measure them again and the window again and they should fit. So i aligned it again, this time absolutely perfect and popped out right in. The actual blinds are beautiful. They glide up and down and the color (beige) is gorgeous. I love how they let the light in when positioned as such. They are not 100% blackout but they are pretty good.
