Our den faces NW and is usually cooler than the rest of the house in winter because of the NW winds. This fills the bill. Well packaged. Easy assembly. Heats the room splendidly. The flame and embers are realistic. Fast shipping. Cabinet in three days and firebox in five. Assembly hint: hand tighten all fasteners until sides and front socket into top. Then tighten. Bottom is flat and does not offer a problem. I used a cordless drill w/Allen bit so assembly was quick. Firebox flames had some motor noise that soon stopped and is silent now. Blower could use a little more oomph but is OK. Undocumented feature: the online description and manual list low and high wattage settings implying there are only two heat settings. However, the unit has three. Low, high and both. All-in-all a happy camper here. ... show more

    • That's a lot of heat!
This heater is great for cold mornings. Wroom is smalle have it downstairs in the living room. It gives good heat fast. Nice to turn on to sit and watch TV after a bath or hair washed. Saves you from having to turn up the thermostat and heat the whole house. Our room is small so only need the lowest setting. It does go higher for a large room or if you would want to heat two rooms. The flames look real. I’m shocked! I really like it a lot. The heater works ok. Doesn’t put out a lot of heat but I’m good with that because it’s a small tv room.

This is a very nice firelplace! The wood is solid and pretty and the flames themselves are really nice. This is not a very big fireplace, so if you are placing in a large room, it will get lost.

Very easy to assemble. Comes in two shipments; the mantel and the heating unit. Arrived in excellent condition. The flame is realistic in movement and nice to look at the heat output is good.
