This is a quality item. You can tell, even by the packaging. It comes with everything you need. It's lightweight and easy to maneuver. The instructions are extensive (and very small print), and I have to admit I was nervous to try it. But after my initial fear was conquered, I started my hair removal journey. I have to admit I'm disappointed at how long the process takes. It's been a few weeks, and I am still not hairless. If you stick with it, it does work. I'm just hoping the results last long enough for it to pay off.

Nice packaging, easy to follow directions. I've been using this for a month, just about every other day (as directed). I am using it under my armpits and bikini area. I moved up to level 5/6 by the end of the 2nd week. It seems to be working, but slowly. I don't have thick hair, but after a month, I still need to use though I can tell the hair is growing slower. It is super quick and simple to use, so all a person needs is patience for it to do its thing.

i got this one and another one from the same company but a different version. i have very pale skin and dark hair so i'm the perfect test subject. i had laser hair removal decade or so ago and it worked great! except for my underarms which still has some hair. i'm going to try this one on one armpit and the other on the other armpit and see if one is better than the other. i'll update my review after i've had time to go through the process. one thing--the directions for both styles are not great.

I ordered the Venus Pro IPL Hair Removal Device and it fits quite well in my hands. I like the swivel head feature so I can easily get to hard to reach areas. This device seems like it is a really good quality, and I see that it is an upgrade to an earlier model. There are 6 different modes to choose from depending on what you are treating, and 6 intensity levels. This device is easy to get started using, but I highly recommend reading all of the instructions thoroughly, and follow the recommended times per week for treatment. This device has unlimited flashes which is a plus. It comes with a quality pair of protective laser glasses, which I would definitely use to protect your eyes. A really nice feature is the cooling technology that cools the skin to help prevent burns. I was a little concerned about a "snapping" discomfort I read about when doing research on IPL devices, and I don't feel that with this one. There is a brief warm feeling without any discomfort, and I am happy so far with this device. As I continue treatments, I am anticipating a good result as my type of skin and hair color have been most successful with this kind of treatment. So far this IPL hair removal device seems to be working as indicated, but results will be told over time. I will revisit this review if I have unsuccessful or less than desirable results, otherwise I will keep my rating at 5 stars.

Because of the high price, I'd recommend starting out with a much lower priced unit in the sub $100 to 150 then upgrade to something like this once you know it's something you enjoy and that works for you. But if cost isn't an issue for you: Pros =established brand (and they have $700 machines) =rotates to more easily reach certain areas =improvements to an earlier model =cooling system (and it should for that price) =powerful at 60w =better than standard glasses and razors (and should at that price) Cons =price =still not wireless Safety: 1.Not suitable for people with dark skin or light hair color 2. Do not use on skin areas with tattoos, scars, and moles IPL Generalities Units are pretty standardized other than features like cooling, power in watts, shape, and build quality. You need to shave prior to use. Usually, they give you a razor but feel free to use your own. Make sure you wear safety glasses. Who knows what damage you could do? =does not work on certain skin or hair colors. See the chart that's included in most IPLs. People that find they don't work typically have the wrong matches in the chart for compatibility or aren’t waiting a very long time before they see results.

Great quality and good laser. I am blonde but have some darker hairs and so far it seems to be working. The hair where I have used for 2 sessions is thinner and finer. Overall a great purchase that should make self care easier
