It's hard to determine what you're going to get if one company sells several products and the reviews are all compiled into one, as are the descriptions. I clicked on the "Joveco Storage Ottoman Fabric Button Tufted Rectangular Teal Footrest Bench Toy Chests ..." (etc.). I wish companies would list a short, accurate product description, then put all the descriptive terms they want to be found by searches in parentheses at the end. I received a similar chest to the one in the image when I ordered, but I would call it aqua and not cadet blue. More importantly, the dimensions don't match the bulleted "product details" at the top which say : 41.5"D x 18.1"W x 17.7"H." My chest is very close to the dimensions listed further down the page in the written description (34.5"L x 21.5"D x 16"H. This is the way I refer to furniture dimensions). Luckily, it still fits the space at the foot of my bed, but a discrepancy this large could have been a dealbreaker. I would be careful of the products sold by this company, but I'm happy with this chest. ** UPDATE ** After reading my review the seller immediately corrected the size on their webpage, which is to their credit. They also offered to send me a shipping label so that I can return the chest for a full refund ... if I would remove my critical rating. I'm not willling to do that and believe that my 4-star rating is appropriate for my hassles and their error that caused them. I sure don't want to rebox this thing (with what??) and haul it to a shipping center. I'm learning to live with the size.

It will hold the weight it claims, I checked. It’s maybe a bit squeaky but held up well. Color is nice, matches most tans & browns & wood floor. Had to put no slip pads on the bottom so it doesn’t move away from the wall when you sit. I’ve managed to keep my cats off it but the few threads I’ve had to pull look fine because the fabric is nice and a bit textured. Storage is nice, don’t expect to fit a ton of blankets but it’s deep enough. 4.65/5

I purchased this to use as quick access bikini storage and I’m loving that I can just pull it open and grab what I need. My previous summer storage option left everything smashed and digging through it was a pain…this is much prettier and leaves plenty of space for organizing my hordes of swimwear. It has also clearly pointed out that I may have a slight problem and need to stop buying bikinis…Naaaah.😂 The ottoman was reasonably priced, looks nice and only took about 10 minutes to assemble. It’s definitely a comparable option to a typical preassembled ottoman. The fabric used is nice and the color is a true charcoal grey. Not overly blue or purple. I love the slow close arms on the lid that makes it unable to have the hinges/lid hyperextend. This would actually be a great option for hidden toy storage. With the arms on the lid it would prevent kiddos from easily breaking it and it’s nice enough to blend into a room without looking like kid storage.

I ordered the green one that you have to put together. It was pretty easy to assemble. The color looks EXACTLY like the photo which was super important to me. I'm so sick of almost buying something because of the gorgeous color and then going to the reviews and seeing the complaints that it's actually a different shade or color than it was supposed to be. I've wanted an emerald green piece of furniture for a while now and now I finally have one. my dogs use it to look out the window but I've sat on it myself and it holds my (massive) weight just fine.

I absolutely love my bench. It's elegant in it's look and of high quality. It is a really nice compliment to my room and can support much weight (at least 245 because it supports me). It also handles my teenage football player's roughness really well. I would quickly purchase this again - if needed. Right now, I will continue to enjoy this one!
