Description

Banded Crickets are the insect of choice for most lizards, amphibians, and other exotic pets. Available in a full range of counts and sizes to fit your needs perfectly. We found Banded Crickets will ship well all year long. In most climates, they would consistently arrive alive and fresh. These crickets naturally have more protein compared to other species of crickets, which is important for building and repairing tissue in your pets! Our goal is to get insects to customers that are alive on arrival every single time! We offer a LAG for when this doesn't happen. In winter, we switch to boxes that don't have vents. These do a good job holding body heat from the crickets and eliminating potentially fatal drafts! 1" Banded Cricket 3/4" Banded Cricket 1/2" Banded Cricket 1/4" Banded Cricket 1/8" Banded Cricket Pinhead Cricket How long do they typically live? Banded crickets have a lifespan of 8-10 weeks. 1" crickets are near the end of their lifespan and will live up to another 2 weeks after arrival as long as they are fed. What do these crickets eat while being raised? Fresh vegetables, powdered cricket food and watering gel What nutritional value do these crickets offer? Protein 17% | Fat 8% | Fiber 2% | Water 71% What animals are these recommended for? Large Reptiles: Adult Bearded Dragons (14 inches or larger), Leopard Geckos, Adult Chameleons, Ackie Monitors Large Toads: Yellow Spotted Climbing and Smooth Sided Toads Large Frogs: Giant Waxy Monkey Tree Frogs, Pacman Frogs, Malaysian Horned Frog Substrates, feeders, other supplies, live plants, and educational resources all in one place for convenient pet ownership. Conservation Through Captive-Breeding Passionate About Pets & People One-Stop Shopping For Success Our goal is deliver insects and plants that are alive on arrival in all weather! Otherwise, DOAs are covered by our LAG promise. In 2004 by Joshua Willard made fruit fly cultures for his personal dart frogs. As a way to support his frog hobby and to better serve others in the amphibian hobby, Josh started selling the fruit fly cultures, as well as supplies for kits. • Extremely disappointed!!!!
I hate writing negative reviews but figured this is something that needs to be addressed, seeing that I'm not the only one......... I figured I would try it out so I ordered 60 1" gutloaded. I opened that package and figured "it's insect's getting shipped in know they won't all be alive" bit not only that. I opened it up and transfered them to my cricket tank, I then hand counted THE MOUND of dead cricket's..... 25 dead and only 15 in the tank(hand counted them too)!!! So not only was my order shorted but more than half of what I ordered was dead!! I'm trying to find a decent online place that delivers fast like this but boy am I glad I didnt end up like some of the other reviews ordering 1000 and over 250 dead and being shorted...... Hopefully I can find somewhere else😩 ... show more

  • Pay attention to the temperature before you order or you may get death.....
I have bought from Josh's Frogs numerous times for my cricket needs and had absolutely no issue. However, when they say be aware of the temp's before you order, they mean it. This last order I received, I could smell through the box. I knew it would not be good. All of the crickets were dead and had turned to mush in the bottom of the container. So, buyer beware of the temps before you order. Wait until the temps are cooler and then order away. ... show more
