I absolutely love it! Just make sure what you're rolling out isn't over the size than the rolling pin. I made that mistake making sugar cookies for Christmas. It wasn't a big deal, I just had to roll out smaller amounts. It's just something to keep in mind vs. a regular rolling pin that doesnt have difinitive edges, if you're making a dough that needs to roll out to a wider size. Wow! Getting cookies and other doughs rolled out in the same thickness is ssssoooo much easier!! Wish I'd found this sooner. I rolled cookies between two sheets of parchment paper and with virtually no mess, had perfect cookies!

I got this as a gift for my mom and she loves it. She saw it online and thought it was just the coolest thing so I ordered it for her. I was very pleased with the quality. It's a nice and sturdy wooden pin and the rings on the edges are a hard sturdy plastic. She loves the different colors not just because they're cute but also it makes it easier to identify the different sizes. It even has measurements on the pin itself! You can clean it just as you would any other rolling pin. Definitely recommend this for any baker wishing to make their life a little easier. So far my mom has really enjoyed using it. I hope this means there will be more baked goods around the kitchen for me to enjoy! ;) ... show more

I had purchased one to use with my pottery a while back - rolling out slabs by hand that are of even thickness is almost impossible without guides. The four sizes available with this rolling pin make that very easy - you just remove all but the ring that matches the thickness you want. In fact, it worked so well that I bought another for use in the kitchen rolling out pastry dough. I do cookie day every year for Christmas with my grands. Somehow at least one of them always manages to roll the dough way too thin and has to redo it, often with the same result. This clever rolling pin takes care of that. Whatever ring you put on the ends is the thickness of the dough. Foolproof!
