I now have 4 of them! They are very soft. I have had no pilling or shedding with any of them. I wash on gentle cycle in cold water and tumble dry on low. The only negative is that they do have a bad smell when you open them. They come shrink wrapped. I had to wash all of them several times with a laundry odor removing product (which you can buy on Amazon. It is a little expensive, but worth it. And now I use it for other things also.) Now my throws have no smell.

I'm buying my second bc this is the softest blanket in the house. It washes well too. I got white with 2 little boys in the house and a dog. Somehow, it's still white! Also it's wonderfully big and cozy, and not heavy. Perfect for the couch in any weather. I do wish they had more colors. I'd love a dark green or purple!

This blanket is so soft and cozy. It’s honestly my new favorite blanket to cuddle up in on my couch. But, I have a cat who loves to knead the blanket, and run over this blanket, and just generally exist on this blanket. And as you can see from the picture, it has caught in his claws in many spots and frayed slightly all over. The blanket is still holding up fine (as in it’s not coming apart), but visually, it looks a little rough now. So overall, I’d give this blanket 4/5 stars, because I can mostly look past the random bits coming off the blanket thanks to my cat, since it is so soft and cozy. Also, I’ve washed it (on normal or heavy duty, can’t remember) and dried it (on delicate), and it’s held up well!

I originally purchased a barefoot blanket cozy chic throw. After one wash, there was an inch hole and returned it. I happened to look on Amazon and found a dupe here. It’s a little thinner compare to barefoot but otherwise it’s pretty much close to original. It’s more durable, bigger and price is like 1/4 of original. So if you don’t wanna spend $150 for a throw, this is the great option!
