Complicated as heck. You can do 97% by yourself, but when it's time to install the mattress bottom to the frame and hook up the hydraulics, you will need two people. Just start on one box at a time. Trust the system. I'm very happy with it so far. The mattress fits, and at first the hydraulics kicked the doors out at about 2 feet, but once the mattress sets in, it's all good. I don't think the bench holds heavy people. My hubs sat down and it creaked ominously, so I don't think he will try again. ... show more

The directions are printed Vietnamese???? Thank god for you tube. It takes 2or3 folk to put it together.It looks good except the big silver screws with no way to cover them

    • No! WARNING- I don’t write reviews but…
DO NOT BUY! Horrible experience!. Horrible instructions and horrible pieces. This would have been such a nice bed. But the assembly was a nightmare. We hired professionals to assemble this bed and it took them two weekends to correct the holes drilled in the wrong place, replace the screws that came with the bed with the correct ones, and cover the scratches and cracks from packaging. Luckily after $500 in labor costs, we have the bed together. But if we didn’t have contractors that could do all of the above and replace the unworking hydraulics, then we wouldn’t have a bed. Please know that if you do buy this bed, there is no guarantee you’ll be able to put it together. Nor anyone else. And be prepared to pay someone to fix the parts. It’s not worth the risk. Wish I would have never gotten rid of my old Murphy bed for this one. ... show more
