Love this rug. I’ve had jute rugs before and this one is my favorite. Great price and quality. Laid flat right away and looks so nice. It is very “chunky” so my chairs don’t glide over it very well. You do need to lift the chair up to move it back and forth. We don’t eat at this table often we do eat at the counter so not a big deal for us. The rug weave is thick and it’s heavy. The color is as advertised. My problem is I have pets, and they have managed to pull this woven rug apart. The weave is loose even though the rug is heavy. It feel like it should be sturdy, but, after a week, my rug looked like I owned it for years. I have had the weave catch on chairs, and with each movement, some other part of the rug pulls like a cheap sweater. If you are going to try and use this rug in an active setting, then I would suggest another option. If you have it sitting in a room that’s never used, I highly recommend it. ... show more

I got this rug from Amazon Warehouse and was expecting it to arrive in a less than ideal state. It had a hole which I tied off then sewed back together and you can't tell it was ever there now. I expect I will have to frequently repair this rug, but it should be easy work. This rug is nice and heavy, with a massage-like quality under barefeet. My boys and I enjoy walking over it and even resting on it. The color of this rug is a bit irregular, not just a solid gray, but with flecks of natural color here and there. Possibly this will aid in hiding stains and whatever additional repairs required. ... show more

Beautiful rug. Soft yet firm. Vacuumed it after getting it today and it ripped the carpet up. You can literally never vacuum this rug if you want to use it. I was able to tuck most of it back into the fibers so it doesn’t look bad in the photo but it was definitely WAY worse. So I wouldn’t recommend this rug if you plan in ever cleaning it. For the price I felt like it should have held up much better. I’d expect this out of a cheap $60 rug but not this one. Super disappointed because it looks and feels amazing otherswise. ... show more
