I have had many lamps over the years. Some are antiques and some have simply been to fill a space with some essential task lighting. However, when my favorite nightstand light stopped working, I needed a replacement. This lamp looked like it had a classic look and fit with my decor perfectly. When I opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is even nicer looking than the picture. The ginger jar base looks expensive and the lamp is a perfect size for my nightstand. Classic gold edging on lamp ties in with base and finial. The navy cross hatching on the ceramic base is timeless and would go with any decor. The linen lamp shade looks beautiful with the light coming through. The packaging was excellent and everything arrived perfectly.
