This bed frame is well made and very sturdy. It was very easy to put the bed frame together and came with instructions (although we didn’t need the written instructions). We have a very heavy headboard that we attached to the bed frame and we did have to purchase head board supports to support the weight of the headboard and to keep it from hitting the wall - keep that in mind if you have a substantial headboard. This bed frame is sturdy, has middle frame support, and is fairly easy to put together. It's also adjustable width-wise, but at the smallest width, it was about 2" bigger than our full size box spring, which concerned me since it would be easy to hit your shin on the part that's sticking out. And the mattress isn't snug in the frame. Not sure if it's just this specific frame we ordered, or if they're all too big. ... show more

There are only three beams total. Therefore there are only one support beam which causes the bed to basically touch the floor where there is no support. It is for my 10-year-old son and he can deal with it, doesn’t mind but if this from my frame I would be highly annoyed. Do you need a box spring. Yes, it was easy to put together but cannot be used without a boxspring. I am giving this three stars because it is my fault that I did not realize it needs a boxspring as it mentions in the title. ... show more

This is a sturdy and easy to assemble bedframe for a box spring/mattress bed. It ships at half the length of most frames because the long rails come in two pieces that bolt together. That makes is handier to ship, or to disassemble and move, but it's not as strong as a single-piece rail.

This is a good, sturdy metal full-size bed frame that has nine legs and goes together easily. It comes in a box half the length of a side rail, and you put those together once you've taken the frame into its room. I wanted this bed frame for a platform bed, but the listing is confusing: "full size platform bedframe for Box Spring and Mattress . . . " All the pictures in the listing show a box spring/mattress combination, and I wanted to use this for a platform bed, so I don't really know what to make of this. I read the listing carefully, but I never could figure out what the seller meant to say about using this as a platform bed. It is a good, sturdy bed frame that has nine legs, which is a nice feature, and I wouldn't worry about it supporting a box spring and mattress, but I AM worried about using it as a platform bed. I understand that the language differences might account for the confusing listing description. The best I could figure was that you could use this either way, platform or with box springs/mattress, but I won't be setting up this bed frame yet permanently until I'm sure. That's the reason I gave this product three stars. It's very sturdy, it's heavy (trust me), and it looks like it's made to last. This full size platform bed frame is the perfect dimensions (71” x 54” x 7”) for my quest bedroom space. Thankfully I already have the required box springs and mattress. I like that the 9 supporting feet provide 6.2 inches of storing space beneath the frame. Those feet also protective rubber on the bottom to prevent tearing of carpet or scratching hardwood floors. I am also happy that the frame has hardware on it to attach a headboard. One very unique feature is that this cross bars are adjustable if you need to an additional one inch in width. This sturdy metal frame can hold up to 800. I recommend this product to family, friends, and others looking for a strong, easy to assemble, and great value for the money. Enjoy! ... show more
