This was around $100 when I bought it, I was looking at a $300 or $400 one and decided I didn't want to spend that much right now, this certainly works, but it's not sturdy, it will hold you, but it will wobble and wiggle a fair amount. Also, the little metal latch that's supposed to hold the top step in place so that it can't fold up while you're on it or something, doesn't work at all on mine, it's not actually long enough to reach around the step to lock in place per the instructions and when I tried to get it into place a few times, it stretched and bent the metal tab so that it wouldn't hook onto anything even if it did reach now. Cheaply made, but it does allow me to reach my high shelves. So, despite being cheap, if you are ok with some wobble and wiggles when you are up 4' off the ground, it still works and performs it's task fine, it's certainly lightweight. It did sustain some scratches in shipping, but since I don't plan to leave it outdoors, I don't foresee rust issues. It's not quite as nice looking as it would have been without the scratches, but I also don't care much what it looks like. The treads are sufficient in size and grip. One more thing, the little drop down thing to hold a screwdriver or another small tool is very cheap plastic, I'm not sure yet if I'll rip it off of there, or if it could still be useful to hold a very light tool.

I’ll be honest I got this ladder because it was cheap. Probably not the best thing to do when it’s a ladder. It’s worth the money and as long as I’m not going to the top it works just fine.

I recently renovated our kitchen with ceiling height cabinets. The four step ladder is the perfect aid to access the upper cabinets. The ladder has a step safety clip to help ensure the steps remain in place when open. The ladder stores easily. It comes with extra floor protectors, as they are rather thin and I suspect they will wear quickly.
