I dye my hair once every 5 weeks. I've been doing this for 15+ years - I started going gray very early. As anyone who dyes their hair regularly knows, this takes a toll on your hair. Although I'm very careful (washing only once a week), sometimes my hair is just a little fried. My stylist recommended this to me before I did another full color transition. It's easy to use - just put it in at night before you're going to wash your hair - I then braid my hair - and sleep on it. It has a very pleasant smell (at least i think so) and then the next day, just wash and condition like normal! I do have a silk pillowcase, and always put a different pillowcase on the nights I use this - I have no idea if it would stain the silk - it doesn't leave any residue on a normal pillowcase - but I didn't want to take the risk. My stylist says it has really helped my hair!

I will admit when I bought the first bottle of this I did not like it and started a return but decided to give it another chance and now I am on my second bottle. I loathe having any product in my hair but this really does not leave any residue and it has made such a difference in my hair that was recently bleached to extreme trauma levels

Like the formula & made my hair feel great but the scent was completely overwhelming. Ugh. - And I'm normally not bothered by hair product fragrances but it was SO strong it actually gave me a headache...

I am glad I tried this product. As it recommends I used this product overnight. It works well when applied from ends to beginning of damage (avoiding root area) on clean hair leaving overnight and no need to wash out next morning. Does not weigh hair down or make it look dirty. If you only wash your hair once a week will help for 2 nights then really doesn’t seem to penetrate. I wash my hair twice a week at least so works for me.

Ive tried more hair products than I'd like to admit. I have very thick and very dry hair that appears damaged. I have found it very difficult to find hair products that can do anything to my hair without having a thick residue feeling leftover. This product is actually pretty awesome. I have curly hair and it defines my curls very well. I also straighten my hair. My hair had a glass shine to it after using this product and straightening without the residue build up. I now use this product religiously everytime I wash my hair. I naturally dry overnight as well. I'm curious how effective it will be to prevent damage over time but even with the short term benefits I would gladly recommend this product.
