So this past summer I used a new chlorine/shock product in my swimming pool and unfortunately it damaged my hair like nothing has ever done before. I don't know what the heck it did but it coated my hair and made it Feel Like Straw. I tried this damage detox shampoo and it worked really well. It didn't fully take away the straw feeling but to be fair I tried like half a dozen different products like this and none of them worked as well as this did. Ultimately I had to end up cutting off all of the damaged ends and I'm still in the process of getting rid of the damaged hair. I didn't want to shave my head of course. A little bit of this stuff goes a long way and it Suds really nicely. It has a pleasant scent. It was gentle on my color treated hair and did not strip the color away. My hair has been feeling odd lately - looking really weighed down. I tried a clarifying shampoo but it didn’t help. This stuff did! I washed with this first and then used my regular shampoo and conditioner. My hair feels so much softer and lighter again

I've had hair issues for about two years. My first round of hair thinning was solved by hair vitamins, but when it started up again about a year ago, nothing seemed to help. The vitamins made it to worse. Products meant for thinning and damaged hair would seem to make more of it fall. If it didn't make it fall, then it just weighed it down and made it look wet/oily. I do have very hard water, so I finally decided maybe this was more of the problem than I thought. Now, this just arrived and I've only used it once so far. I wish it was fragrance free, and it has a lot of ingredients in it I normally wouldn't use, but my hair looks and feels the best it has in at least 4 months. And rather than being as careful as possible washing my hair (at this point I generally just coat it with minimal massaging and let it sit) I felt like I could really wash it, for the first time in almost a year. Only time will tell, but here's hoping adding this to my routine will be a surprise solution to multiple issues. I love the fragrance but oddly for a clarifying shampoo I have a residue left on my scalp. I can run my fingernails down my scalp after shampooing twice and rinsing thoroughly and have a white residue in my fingernails from what’s left behind. 🙁I really wanted to like this product, but it doesn’t do what it should. ... show more
