It really is quite nice with both the top light and the nightlight on. Also, with just the nightlight and a roaring blaze in the fireplace, very cozy. Sturdy, well made, the shade is also good quality. The finish is closer to black than bronze, but not a big deal for me.

    • There were some drips of the oil finish.

The oil finish was in drips on the glass. It came off with nail polish remover, thankfully. We were going to send them back if it didn't come off.

The lamp part is nice but the lamp shade is too large for the lamp. So I paid more for a shade I can't use... lamp shade doesnt seem to go with lamp

These lamps are a little bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. They came packaged really nice in 2 separate boxes each with the foam around them taped together. The lamp shades are also packaged separately. The night light part of the lamp gives off a nice soft glow, the actual lamp part is very bright. They are a larger lamp so if your looking for something of a smaller lamp these wonโ€™t be for you. They changed the look of my living room so nicely. The 2 lamps fit our space well. They are a good value for the price. I would have liked for them to be 3 way. They came with 800 lumens bulbs, so I had to purchase 1600 lumens bulbs so that they would put out enough light to read by. All in all, we are happy with our purchase.
