These durable sprayers are designed to offer flexibility to apply various liquids in a variety of different ways. Additionally, having an attachment system that’s designed specifically for the tractor provides excellent stability and maneuverability. The 25-gallon X300/X500 Sprayer features a 5 ft. (1.5 m) folding boom that applies a 7 ½ ft (2.3 m) spray swath. Also included is an adjustable brass-tip hand wand attached to 19 ft (5.8 m) of hose that’s ideal for spot spraying lawns or spraying trees up to 30-ft (9.1-m) high. Durable components, like the 2.2 GPM commercial-grade pump and a powder-coated steel frame, offer superior durability. Unique brackets make attachment, detachment, and backing up easy, ensuring that every inch of a property is sprayed properly. Works great for applying liquid fertilizers. I mistakenly bought this unit thinking it was compatible with the JD100 series. It’s not a direct fit, but by drilling the rear frame, you can mount the hardware and slot the bracket for the unit to fit. Worked great this season to renovate the lawn. Used to spray 10,000 square foot area to kill weeds, then to apply starter fertilizer and root growth stimulant to newly over seeded area. Works great! Only advice would. Be to watch the unit when filling to the 25 gallon mark, could use some ballast or suitcase weights in the front as the steering gets a little sketchy on hills with all the weight in the back. 4/5. If it had mounting for 100 series I’d give it a 5/5 if you can use a tape measure and have a few basic hand tools and a few drill bits you’re golden. Good - Works well, nice design for the John Deere X324 tractor, except the swing arm design (should be spring loaded). Bad - Entire spray wand and clamp - MISSING - Pump barb hose connector - BROKEN - Instruction manual (Gator) included - WRONG - Would not accept no-charge return - $$$ - Shipped missing and broken parts by USPS, not UPS as originally shipped - SLOW - Had to repair the defective unit myself - TIME ... show more

    • Very happy with my new sprayer.
I ordered it and it came way before the expected time frame. Was easy to put together and ran so much better than my pull behind that I had. The wand spray is very powerful too. I'm very happy with this purchase.

    • Came with the wrong set installation instructions.
The installation instructions that came with it were not the correct ones. The parts list, images of the parts, and assembly instructions were for a different version that was intended to mount in the bed of a John Deere Gator, not mount on the back of a riding mower. I was eventually able to figure out how to make it go together and it seems to work, but it is really poor quality control to not be able to put the correct instructions in the box. ... show more

This is not made by JD, it’s an official licensed product but appears to be made very well. Mine did not come with the Shurflow brand name pump that they mention online but still everything looks well thought out. I have an x350, all fit as described, I assembled everything semi tight then after placing on secured tractor mount I tightened everything well. First test run was 10 gallons, went super great, easy and fast, way easier than anything else you could use on a several large 10,000 sq foot areas. You must have a good understanding of what you are mixing, professional products are better suited to these sorts of quantities vs. the same ingredients with lesser concentrations as sold by the big box stores. ... show more

    • Great Sprayer overall but Fails on parts
The sprayer heads on the mounted model are hard plastic which breaks extremely easily; problem is manual and dealers don't have new sprayer heads or parts numbers.
