This worked great for me so far! Followed all instructions to a tee. Pictures are with flash and without flash. Obviously this is a cheap set, so don't expect too much, but so far have been pleasantly suprised. The light is fantastic! As far as the polish bottles, they are small, but there is more than enough product in each one. Especially if you are applying in very thin coats. Make sure, you CAP the nail with the polish! Super important! Also, sometimes it can feel very hot, so if your nails start burning, take them out immediately, and then put them in again and burning will subside. I only experienced this with the top coat. I used the glitter topcoat. One layer base coat, 2 coats of color, and one coat of glitter top coat. Thank you! Absolutely love this nail polish kit! First off it comes with everything you need to have a successful manicure. Easy to get out and use. Follow the instruction it gives you and your nails will come out beautifully. I am in no way a professional and from the very first manicure I gave myself was so happy. This kit comes with so many color you will not be disappointed in the selection nor get tied of any of the color. I would say my manicure last about around 2 weeks. I find the more my hands are in water they don't seem to last as long. Soaking them off I found was easy too. Every time I give myself a manicure I get some many compliments. This is my first time using gel polish. Very easy to use, and it looks great. The color stickers on the tops of bottle and the product picture are not true to the actual colors in the bottles. I'm happy with the product just wish I'd gotten the colors I thought I was getting.

So, I ordered this at-home gel nail kit on a whim, since I haven’t been able to go to the nail salon since early September and I’ve been dying to have my nails done. **Please take into consideration that I am no where close to being a nail tech and this picture attached is blurry**, but overall… I’m super impressed and happy with my final results. The little UV light seems to work great and has a tray on the bottom so your hand isn’t just resting on the table or half in and half out. Along with the light, the kit comes with 32 colors, plus a base coat, top coat, matte top coat and glitter top coat. Alcohol/dehydrator wipes, a small pair of nail clippers, a peachy scented cuticle oil twisty pen, 3 emery boards, a box buffer, 2 packs of nail stickers, 5 nail caps to use to soak off your old polish, 3 sheets of French tip guide stickers, toe separators for pedis, a nail brush, a pack of thin stickers for making your own lined nail design and 3 nail tools. After painting, top coating and curing, I finished it off with filling a mini spray bottle with isopropyl alcohol and gave each nail a spray and wiped clean with a cotton pad. This ensured that the top coat was no longer feeling sticky from the UV light. I brushed once more with the cuticle oil, and put on some lotion and my nails feel like they have been to the nail spa. I would totally recommend this. Definitely not as pleasurable for me like it normally is, to go to the salon to get them done there, but this is a wonderful substitute. Especially when you might not have the time, or even the money at all times to get your nails done. I’ll see how long they last and hold before peeling or getting damaged, but so far, so good. My only issue would be the size of the polish bottles. They are suuuuuuper tiny. I’m hoping a little goes a long way though. For the price, and convenience, you really can’t beat it. I bought this to try and save money from not going to the nail salon, and honestly, if you use at least twice, it’s worth the money. The colors are actually very pretty, but the topcoat and basecoat have a very strong odor. The cord for the light is kind of short so you might need an extension cord if you’re not right near an outlet doing your nails. The one time I used this, it lasted about 10 days with no chips, but if you do not dry properly, it will start to peel within a day. If you use it correctly, you shouldn’t have any issues. I think I've finally found the DIY nail kit of my dreams! I've tried the powder kits, the regular polish kits, and the sticker kits, and I could never get the hang of it. My nails didn't look how I wanted them to and it never lasted long. Gels always worked best for me, but the salon adds up. With this kit, I can have nails looking *almost* as good as what I would get at the salon, at a very small fraction of the price and in about a half hour from set up to clean up. My DIY gel nails also last just as long, if not longer, than if I were to get gel nails at the salon. Now, I can't do anything fancy, just solid colors, but that's my go-to anyway. ... show more
