It's powerful enough, and not painfully loud as other dryers. I only wish there were three levels of temperature. The switch from hot to cold (or vice versa) is not super quick. Overall I'm satisfied though.

Wow, I now believe others' comments on this hair dryer. This is an awesome, professional-grade dryer. Here's why: 1. Turbo drying took less than 2 min instead of 5 min. I love the sound of the motor running, powerful but not overly sizzling. 2. Upon drying, before styling, my hair doesn't look like it came out of an oven. It used to be cracking dry, and I used to sweat like heck from other brands' dryers. 3. My hair is frizzy curly, but this dryer minimizes it. Plus, it kept my skull & hair cool. 4. It doesn't get any better! I only used the JMW dryer in Korea, but this product is really the best in the world. Dyson can't keep up with this performance either. I also recommended it to my friend today! Hope more products from JMW get to Amazon and I recommend all Americans try this!

I’m a professional hairstylist. At first use, I loved this dryer. It’s quiet compared to Salano annd Babybliss and lightweight. It worked great for adding volume to fine hair. After a month it suddenly stopped working. The reset kept clicking and it wouldn’t turn on. I returned it and got the same model as a replacement. After a month of using it suddenly stopped blowing hot air. This one is going back and I won’t be getting a replacement. I can’t say if this is an issue with the dryer or is Amazon sending refurbished equipment out? It’s such a shame because this dryer had so much potential. ... show more
