  • Great for its price!
Great for the price. I’ve accidentally washed them twice. They’ve still worked. But even before that. They have issues connecting. They have issues dropping connection. And the charging hub sometimes won’t charge. These issues happened before and after the accidental washing.

29.00? What did you expect? What did you get? This is a day one, actually day 2, set up review. It will be updated in a week or so. I'm only going to touch on the sound as at this price, expectations were noting to far from 2 cans on a string. They fit in the ear well and are fairly small. Not as small as "drops", or my Galaxy Buds +. Very acceptable on size and fit. You have 3 in app EQ choices, balanced, bass, and signature. Out of the box they were set to balanced. In this mode I didn't see much hope for narrations, much less musical enjoyment. The response curve would look like someone drew a hill with the emphasis being on the mid-range. The coloration is very noticeable and tinny. Playing music thru the buds sounded like a transistor radio in a reverberating room. Tap either bud three times (think the Wizard of Oz) and you change to the next EQ setting. This was Bass Boost. The change was obvious with a big, somewhat sloppy bass response. The mid-range coloration was more listenable due to the over emphasis of the bass. The highs are negligible. If I was listening at a very low volume this would be *acceptable*, with tweaks. Tap three more times and I landed on the Signature setting. This provided a much different sound which had potential to lift these buds from 2 cans on either end of a string, to very listenable ear buds. Those are your choices offered by the ear buds. None were spectacular, but one provided potential. *I used several different methods of EQ trial and error supplied by my phone, and third parties. The bottom line is when set up to their potential, they are a steal. The bass, mids, and highs are comparable to buds costing 3 times the price of these buds. The coloration had all but disappeared and music ensued. I am still baffled as to how a marginal ear bud can be transformed into a very respectable reproducer. Coloration in any speaker tends to be there no matter how much they are tweaked. In conclusion, my only explanation is the speaker runs pretty much at full range, warts and all. Doing so provides a very unbalanced sound, heavy on the mids, yet allows for the user to finish the products design to their satisfaction. Most buds have sonic signatures that cannot be tweaked away. When I was finished setting these buds up I took them out of my ears and looked at them to be sure they were the same ones I started with. Yep, same ones. The Signature mode, for me, put them in the ballpark for tweaking. When you read a review of how awful or how great these buds are, sound wise, both are correct. Next time I will address the physical aspects including real use time, charge time, reliability, and the products idiosyncrasies. ****UPDATE***7-20 Took on bike ride, put them in my jersey pocket then proceeded to wash the shirt. Boom, dead. Actually one works fine the other is screaming uncle. SO far this Summer I have lost my Ray Bans, and wedding band while training. All I have left is my shorts. Train on! Amazing product I no longer can use do to my error.*** ... show more

  • OK headphones
I recently purchased the GO Air earbuds, and while they have some notable features, there are a few drawbacks that keep me from giving them a higher rating. Here's my 3/5 review: The Good: Long Battery Life: The GO Air earbuds offer an impressive 5 hours of playtime on a single charge, with an additional 15+ hours provided by the charging case. This gives you a total of 20+ hours of playtime, which is great for long journeys or extended use. Dual Connect: I appreciate the ability to use either earbud independently or both simultaneously. The auto-connect feature ensures a seamless and hassle-free connection to your device, so you don't have to worry about fiddling with settings. Custom EQ3 Sound: The sound quality is surprisingly good, thanks to the 8mm neodymium drivers. The option to choose between JLab Signature, Balanced, and Bass Boost modes via touch sensors is a nice touch, allowing you to tailor the audio to your personal preference without the need for an app. Compact Design: The smaller size of the GO Air earbuds and their longer earbud stems make them comfortable and provide a snug in-ear fit. The integrated charging cable in the pocket-friendly case is a convenient addition for on-the-go charging. The Not-So-Good: Fit for Smaller Ears: While the smaller design is an advantage for some, it might not be suitable for those with larger ears. If you have smaller ears, these earbuds should fit comfortably, but others might find them less secure. In my experience, they tend to slip out easily and are prone to falling out during activities. Limited Accessories: The package includes only three sets of gel tips (Small, Medium, Large). It would have been better to offer more size options to ensure a better fit for all users. In conclusion, the GO Air earbuds have several positive aspects, including long battery life, good sound quality, and a convenient design. However, the limited number of included gel tip sizes and the potential for the earbuds to fall out during use are areas for improvement. Overall, they are a decent option, but there might be better choices available in the market, depending on your specific needs and preferences. ... show more
