  • Life proof earbuds! They won’t disappoint!
The media could not be loaded. I love these earbuds! I must admit that I have many pairs from various brands but these Jlabs earbuds are my favorite! I’ve accidentally washed an earbud in my washer machine! It charged right back up and worked perfectly! Also I’ve dropped my Jlab earbuds in the toilet not once but TWICE! After sanitizing them with Lysol wipes and alcohol they STILL work like new! I wear earbuds A Lot! I’m always listening to music and watching videos. Every night I wear earbuds to listen to sleep meditations and my JLabs are my favorite pair. The battery life lasts all night long! They’re also very comfortable and stay put in my ears. You can properly size them to fit your ears with the silicone bud tips included in multiple sizes. I also like that the charger is attached. The price is very reasonable and I would recommend getting yourself a few pairs! Sound quality is great and noise cancellation is pretty efficient for earbuds. I will buy this brand again and again. I actually own 3 pairs of this particular brand/model. I just had to leave this review because of my amazing experience with them! ... show more

29.00? What did you expect? What did you get? This is a day one, actually day 2, set up review. It will be updated in a week or so. I'm only going to touch on the sound as at this price, expectations were noting to far from 2 cans on a string. They fit in the ear well and are fairly small. Not as small as "drops", or my Galaxy Buds +. Very acceptable on size and fit. You have 3 in app EQ choices, balanced, bass, and signature. Out of the box they were set to balanced. In this mode I didn't see much hope for narrations, much less musical enjoyment. The response curve would look like someone drew a hill with the emphasis being on the mid-range. The coloration is very noticeable and tinny. Playing music thru the buds sounded like a transistor radio in a reverberating room. Tap either bud three times (think the Wizard of Oz) and you change to the next EQ setting. This was Bass Boost. The change was obvious with a big, somewhat sloppy bass response. The mid-range coloration was more listenable due to the over emphasis of the bass. The highs are negligible. If I was listening at a very low volume this would be *acceptable*, with tweaks. Tap three more times and I landed on the Signature setting. This provided a much different sound which had potential to lift these buds from 2 cans on either end of a string, to very listenable ear buds. Those are your choices offered by the ear buds. None were spectacular, but one provided potential. *I used several different methods of EQ trial and error supplied by my phone, and third parties. The bottom line is when set up to their potential, they are a steal. The bass, mids, and highs are comparable to buds costing 3 times the price of these buds. The coloration had all but disappeared and music ensued. I am still baffled as to how a marginal ear bud can be transformed into a very respectable reproducer. Coloration in any speaker tends to be there no matter how much they are tweaked. In conclusion, my only explanation is the speaker runs pretty much at full range, warts and all. Doing so provides a very unbalanced sound, heavy on the mids, yet allows for the user to finish the products design to their satisfaction. Most buds have sonic signatures that cannot be tweaked away. When I was finished setting these buds up I took them out of my ears and looked at them to be sure they were the same ones I started with. Yep, same ones. The Signature mode, for me, put them in the ballpark for tweaking. When you read a review of how awful or how great these buds are, sound wise, both are correct. Next time I will address the physical aspects including real use time, charge time, reliability, and the products idiosyncrasies. ****UPDATE***7-20 Took on bike ride, put them in my jersey pocket then proceeded to wash the shirt. Boom, dead. Actually one works fine the other is screaming uncle. SO far this Summer I have lost my Ray Bans, and wedding band while training. All I have left is my shorts. Train on! Amazing product I no longer can use do to my error.*** ... show more

  • user error - decent headphones
Maybe it's user error. Maybe I overcharged them but it seemed like these never held a good charge. Every time I would go to use them, they were dead. I was using them for no more than a couple of hours at time otherwise I would put them in the case. The sound quality was decent for the price. I had some other cheap wireless headphones and the sound was crap but the battery life was way better than this.Out the box it was easy to pair with my devices but now that I'm experiencing a shorter battery life I'm also noticing that it's not pairing as easily with my Macbook pro. Previously it connected easily. I was pretty happy with these at first but quickly became more and more disappointed. It was a great intro to wireless headphones however I think it might be worth the money to invest in Bose, Beats or Apple airpods. Update: Since purchasing airpods i haven’t used these but noticed even though i haven’t used them in months they still have a charge. I use them as a back up to my AirPods and sometimes in prefer them because they fit snugly in my ear. Sound quality is good enough. In fact maybe more than good enough. The battery issues were likely user error on my part. For the price in paid these get the job done and are a great back up/alternative to my airpod 3rd generation. ... show more

  • Good buds, great price
These were the second pair that I bought. I lost the first pair that I bought almost 2 years ago for twice the cost. ( $30 at Wal Mart). For me, they sound good. I can wear just one at a time while riding my bike and over all they are comfortable. ( Several sets of rubber ear covers included for a choice of fit.) They do fall out occasionally. BUT, you can't beat the price. Also, I keep mine in a small cloth pouch because they don't have a lid on the charging case. That way they don't accumulate dust and dirt or come loose in my purse or gym bag. Ordered them and received them the next day. I was tempted to get the ones with hooks so they wouldn't fall out, but most of the time I wear glasses and I thought the hook would interfere with the glasseso. I also never take time to give reviews, but since this is my second pair, I have. ... show more
