My old armrest cover was cracked and ugly , this replacement was PERFECT and for me it was not difficult to install. you remove the old one then pull the new one over the old foam. I used glue and some staples into he plastic to secure it , doesnt have to be perfect, when you put the bottom plate back on it sucks everything in nice and tight and holds it well. I was pleasantly surprised to find this is an exact match to my trucks interior and feels nice.I waited a while to post review to see how it held up, so far so good , has not pulled loose or done anything weird. ... show more

Looks like the original but made with better quality material that is thicker and softer. Most important part is to make sure it matches with the center console lid of your vehicle. My vehicle was a 2016 Silverado 2500 LT with split seats and storage under the lid. I noticed that on some vehicles it would be more complicated requiring removal of a seat and the entire center console. Fortunately that wasn’t the case for my truck. It was very easy to take apart and put on the new material. In my case I used only an air staple gun with 1/2” staples. Air gun was set down to 50 psi so that staples would not go through the material. Dealer wanted $440 to replace this lid. That’s crazy but I would have paid it had this replacement not look original. Wish I would have done this when material first started cracking. ... show more
