This is truly a blanket and not a throw. I love the feel of this blanket, the size of the blanket and the price of the blanket. It very soft and plush. It is not very thick but thick enough. I love that it is large and long enough that there is a little extra when you wrap up. I also love the timer settings and the automatic shut off. I will never by another throw or a twin blanket again. This was a GREAT, WORTHWHILE and inexpensive purchase. I use my blanket on a queen size bed and it fits nicely. It is so comfortable to sleep under and the material is soft and light weight. You can feel the coils but I've had other throws and blankets and the coils could be felt. That does not take away from the comfort or the work of heating. The heat is evenly distributed and it heats quickly. The cord is just the right length and is not placed in an awkward place on the blanket. The controller is easy to use. Connect the cord to the blanket then plug into the outlet. Finally, I am thnking about purchasing another one to give as a gift. Thank you JKMAX! I am pleased.

Blanket is soft and warm. The fabric itself isn't exactly durable though. We have a fairly active house with pets, so the blanket sees a lot of movement and handling. The fabric pills and the stitching has come undone in a couple places (it's an easy fix if you can do basic mending). Great for the price and what I needed it for in a pinch. At some point I'll upgrade for something more durable, but this is reliable in the mean time.

My wife, bless her, bought this for me because I do like a cold house, but when I went to bed, my feet took forever to get warm, keeping me awake in the wintertime. I work in the Seattle area, while my wife stays in our Southern California home. So, winters here are a bit cold, and this blanket is a game-changer for me. When I go to bed, I set it to temperature setting 4 for one hour. It heats up really fast and evenly, and level 4 is plenty warm for me. After one hour, it shuts off. I can't imagine the heat it must provide at level 10. You can also set it for up to 8 hours. The price for this blanket is also incredible. Less than 40 dollars for the 72x84 inch. You can feel the heating coils inside the blanket, but that's no issue for me. I recommend this product to anyone who wants a great heating blanket for their bed, or as a wrap-around while sitting on a couch or chair.
