I've had this fan for 1 year and 18 days before needing a replacement. Recently, the right side of the fan has stopped working. Left side operates as normal, but the right won't work at all anymore. Pretty disappointed that it only lasted a year, since it's nearly $30 for a replacement. (Knocking a star off for this reason) Battery?: Battery life is good, I wear this fan mostly for intervals of an hour or two at a time, 3-10x per week. I charge it once, maybe twice a week. It does take a while to charge. There's no indicator to alert you to a low battery, so when it's out of charge it just shuts down with no warning. It does die faster on higher speeds, but still lasts a few hours. Loudness?: I'm very sensitive to repetitive, mechanical noises. I was worried with this fan being around my neck, that the noise from the motor/blades would overstimulate me and I wouldn't be able to use it. Happy to report that I was wrong! Even on the highest speed, the noise close to my ears is tolerable; I can still listen to music, and I can have conversations over the noise of the fan no problem. You definitely know it's there, but it's not an annoyance. Weight?: The weight around your neck is comfortable, most of the time I forget I'm wearing it. Additional note: I was worried about the possibility of having my long hair get sucked into the fan, much like the back of a blow dryer will do.
