Like I said earlier, it’s really cute. It’s perfect for all the bills, etc. I want to shred. It’s not good for heavy paper but if it’s large 8 1/2 x 11 size paper, you can fold it lengthwise and half and it serves the purpose but it’s not for heavy paper, but it’s worth it for the price.

I ordered this to make a “worry shredder” for students I work with as a school counselor. It’s been a huge asset to my counseling office. I gave it 4 stars because the handle falls off a lot. Other than that it’s been great. Very cute and compact. Easy to use, compact and pretty colors.

Not sure why people are complaining about this basic manual mini shredder. The name and design says it all so expecting it to do more is not logical. I took a chance on it and it's small and convenient. It's not the everyday bulky electric one. It's meant to save space and do small work. If you're just looking to shred mails and personal docs than this is all you need. Very affordable and does the job. If you don't shred papers every day, buying the electric one is a waste. Pros: small, affordable, save space Cons: slit opening is smaller so you'll have to tear your papers to fit it. Only shred one paper at a time with ease. You can shred 2 but the rotating handle becomes harder to rotate and can possibly break if you do not turn it correctly. The top lid does slip off when rotating so you have to hold the lid down to rotate. For durability, idk how long it lasts but if you are gentle with it, I'm sure it can last a while. When you rotate, you have to follow the handle and don't tried to push it outwards because you can break the handle since it is plastic holding on by a small screw. Overall, it's convenient. It does the job and affordable for the small jobs.

Pros: Can shred a single sheet of cardstock without issue. Compact and portable — doesn’t take up much desk space. Cons: Only handles one piece of cardstock at a time — anything thicker or multiple sheets won’t go through. Lid does not stay securely in place while twisting the lever, making it awkward to use. Not ideal for frequent shredding needs. Usage Details: This shredder does its job for occasional, light-duty shredding, such as a single piece of cardstock or paper. However, it’s not built for volume or heavier materials, and the loose lid can make operation frustrating. I found myself having to hold the lid in place with one hand while turning the lever with the other. Recommendation: Best suited for rare, casual use or as a novelty/desk accessory. For anything more frequent or demanding, a sturdier shredder would be a better investment.

This is a mini-hand shredder for paper that almost has no use existing whatsoever, and yet, I love it. As a childless adult, this type of thing taps into the part of me that I expect most adults who have kids to have grown out of. It would make perfect sense to include it as part of one of those kid's playsets that usually come as like a mini kitchen for kids who want to play make-believe that they're cooking, except this playset would be for kids who want to make-believe they have a 9-5 office job. I like to keep it in the back of one of the drawers in my desk at work for times when the existential doom of realizing I will probably have to spend the rest of my life working for a paycheck because the only type of work I've ever been able to justify doing is nonprofit-human-services minimum wage support gigs while living in the largest most expensive city in the USA because anywhere else just isn't good enough. It can really only handle one piece of paper at a time, but that's okay. I'll reach into my stash of 5+ year old statements from my retirement account and exhale with bliss as a ferociously whined the little crank and watch the statement become the valueless trash that is my retirement.... Ahhh

The best therapy tool for kids or adults!

I've been using this for awhile now, and it's held up very well! I use it for kids in the therapy room, and they seem to love it. The only complaint is regarding the design. The shredder handle easily comes off of the lid, but is easy to re-attach at least. Overall great product, especially for the cost. It's quiet and compact, perfect for small spaces.
