One of the issues is on me- I thought it would block more light than it did. But, the other issue is not- the measurements of the blind do not factor in for a part that sticks out further causing the blind not to fit inside the window area. The blind itself was exactly the measurement, but the part that controls the blind jutted out the precious bit further so the blind didn't fit our window. I'm pretty handy and it took me over an hour to install this because the hooks just would not latch simultaneously (both sides at once, always one side or the other). After over an hour of attempts, they finally snapped in place without me changing a single thing. However, the functionality of this product is great.
