I ordered this assembly with the intention of using the pull cord on one of my mowers. Turns out I didn't even have to disassemble the product, as it comes with a spare pull cord, which I was able to use. I now have this assembly available for my use in the future; I can't ask for much more than that.

After my Toro lawnmower's pull-start cable broke, I ordered this and went to replace it. This came with a second cord that was entirely unattached to the assembly, which was great! That meant I didn't even need most of this, and ended up just using the rope, but I do have the rest of the assembly as a another spare backup if I need it. I did measure the assembly against my mower and everything lined up perfectly, meaning it would have replaced my old assembly if I had needed to. It came with the additional nuts and bolts needed to attach it to the mower since the manufacturer chose to use rivets, and they would need to be removed.
