This thing is huge (not in a bad way , but not to huge) I upgraded from a 500$ scooter , at that price it’s too low for a scooter (for me still expensive because of my budget) but for a decent scooter you definitely have to pay 1,000 or more, I am glad I found this around this price range because it is very beautiful and performs excellent in my experience it rides very smooth , I’ve gotten it up to 36mph but I think it can go faster , because it has 3 categories and 3 gears, I use it at eco mode and 2nd gear and can still reach 30mph , sport is crazy !! You barely touch the handle and it jumps , I don’t use it to scared for it lol. I have 1 week with this and so far no problems unlike my last scooter problem after problem with the back wheel then at the end died within 2 months… the day of this review I took it out and put 120miles on it just to really stress it since I was using it lightly. I can say it’s solid and a great purchase , definitely 👍🏻 if you buy it while you wait read the guide pdf they provide very useful . UPDATE: Amazon is sitting on my returned defective product that was falsely advertised and refuses to answer the question as to WHY it has been in their possession since January 11th and I have yet to receive my refund! Do not buy this defective product! Immediately out of the box this scooter catches your eye and gets compliments. Easy to assemble the handlebar assembly to the stem. The app downloads in Chinese and it takes a minute to figure out how to switch languages. The wheels were not 10" as described they were much smaller which makes stability an issue at "higher" speeds. Very light and easy to pick up. First actual day riding was two days after delivery and it showed an error code already. I continued to ride for a few days on that error code before it simply would not go and I had to push it two miles up hill in the freezing Colorado temps. Tried the website listed on the owners manual and it doesn't exist. Same with the email listed below that. Called Amazon and asked for return, they said they would pick it up next day from work since I have no way to get it home from there. I'm 51 miles away from the delivery address. 3 days have passed and Amazon has yet to pick it up off the dock at work where it is taking up valuable space not to mention I can't purchase another until I get the funds returned to me. Initially impressed, now not so much. Costumer service has gone downhill ever since they found out my motor wires fused to my battery, which is incredibly unsafe and implies the use of cheap wiring and shoddy engineering in general. (See picture) I wouldn’t pay more than 6-700 for this. Many features including the light, throttle, display, and just the scooter in general is very cheap. Additionally there’s no good way to lock up the scooter, as people can just unscrew the handlebars or wheels. The motor cracked when going over a tiny pothole, and the thing has a lot of speed wobbles. The brakes are unsafe, and loosen daily. I was going 25 when the brakes failed and I hit the car in front of me when they were turning in front of the bike lane. This thing breaks so much, and is a pain in the ass. Initially consumer service was good until my return period for Amazon was over, which is when they started hardly responding, and only ever at 3AM since they are in china. Not worth the money, I wanted a really fast and fun scooter for a cheaper price, but the truth is you have to spend more money on a nicer scooter for it to work. Hydraulic brakes are a must. Oh, and you want to use the app? Learn Chinese. Don’t make the same mistake I did, spend the extra 600 dollars for a scooter that will last years, not months. ... show more

Was just looking to upgrade from my small m365 clone scooter... However, the JGH x5 is just so massive, it's like twice as large. It is build very solidly though! The scooter arrived with damage to the left side components, scratches on the turn signal switch and hand brake... As well as having error e004 which the app told me was a brake error. If not for the brake error, I might've kept, even though I was looking for something to take inside the hospital I work at... I doubt you would have any luck taking this large of a scooter into any building, bus, or train. ... show more

I ordered a JGH X5 scooter for my son. He uses it to go to and from work so it needs to be reliable. For two months he had no issues, but the throttle cable did eventually fail. I contacted the JGH via their email support at question@jghsport.com, and they responded immediately. The JGH employee Chayton was kind courteous and responsive. He shipped the replacement part in two days and the scooter works perfectly again. Thanks JGH. ... show more

Only does 30 mph downhill and has no acceration . Speed wobbles the front end at 20mph and on top of that it already died E6 EREOR THEN E3 HAS LEFT ME NO TRANPOSRTATATION . I can't get to work in a reasonable time . Make my day and tell me something good anout my 1000.00 dollar loss being used as a hat rack for weeks . I have 4 days and its going back ... show more

It has no accerlation whatsoever and the front steering gets speed wobbles at 20 mph or so. If that wasn't enough I got a E06 code followed by a E03 CODE and this has left me with a 1k foot rest in my living room . I have been unable to contact anyone and their website is closed. Can't get Scooter even turn on to troubleshoot. Completely ripped a hard working man that needed it for work. If there is anyone that has a way to contact them I have only 4 days to fix it or send it back to Amazon !
