DO NOT BUY I would have went with the "used" option but I didn't and bought a brand new one but these pictures are from 1min after I took it out of the box. Both wheels have markings and the foot pads have a slight wear to them. Also, usually they come with some charge but this one was completely dead so let's hope it actually charges and works. Other than that it seems cool and my daughter likes it. Update: Got the replacement today and same exact issues. I almost thought it was me but I went as far as to YouTube "how to turn on" and it definitely just doesn't work like the last one. Terrible company must have paid for all the 3700 reviews.

Dude this thing is sweet, my 10 yr old got this for his birthday on 1/15. I read reviews on alot of hoverboards to find the best/safest in this this price range and came to this one. Definitely the right choice by far! Battery lasts several hours as he cruises around the house like he was born with it attached to his feet, even reading his homework book as he weaves back and forth. Charges quickly, full charge in around an hour with a light indicator. Can see how these things are dangerous but no more than anything else with wheels, Definitely not the best plan for younger children or children with poor balance, wouldn't give my son one until at least 9 years old. Wear a helmet and good to go!

I opened the package upon receipt and fully charged the battery before I wrapped it for my grandson's birthday, because I know how impatient little boys are. They want to play with new things immediately. At first my grandson was disappointed and could hardly ride it, but then we looked at the manual..... who reads the manuals (hahaha). In reading we found out that the hoverboard needs to be calibrated. After his dad helped him calibrate the hoverboard, it works and rides beautifully. He is very happy with it. Just remember, it may need to be calibrated, which is the difference of being able to ride it or it tipping over.

Update- It initially took a couple days to charge which we thought it was broken because of other reviews but after it got a charge, it has worked great since with no issues. Works great, colors are fun, and my family loves it. -We received the board and plugged it in. Charger says it was full battery yet the board wouldn’t turn on. When you would plug it in, it would flash the batteries that it’s dead. So charger says it’s fully charged while off, when you turn it on, it says it’s dead. Either way, it won’t hold a charge and won’t turn on. Very disappointing for my daughter’s birthday.

My son (14 yr. ) use 2-3 other hoover board but this one is best according to him , easily and quickly charge and long time running products other was stopped work after 15 days some have charging problems and some discharge after 10 min Use , so this one we like most .

The hoverboard came straight out of the box defective...one side was rubbing and jerking while riding. Contacted Amazon who told me to contact Jetson. Had to wait until Monday, as this was a weekend. After jumping through hoops on Monday sending all the requested info/pics/videos, we qualified for a replacement. Waited almost 2 weeks for the replacement and it was also defective! Would not charge at all! Completely useless! On top of that, the replacement was an older crappies version from what I ordered. There was no rubber cover on the charging port, foot rests were cheap plastic buttons, and the whole thing was 5 pounds heavier than the purchased original item. What kind of company downgrades for their own mistake!? Well I went through the whole return process AGAIN for the replacement (photo/video/email tag) and this time I was told I could either pay extra money to have a replacement sent now, or send the broken one back and wait until they get it. Oh and also color not guaranteed...because apparently two defective hoverboards in a row must be my fault right?? At this point I would almost rather have a refund. This was the only thing my son asked for his birthday, and by the time he "might" get a working hoverboard it will be a month late. If the third one even works at all! DON'T WALK...RUNNN....FROM THIS JETSON COMPANY! THEY SUCK!

It's a great board, I love that the lights tell you how much battery is left. My hubby and I also tried it, we weren't very good at it, but it held up and is a user error, not the board
