My 7 year old son picked this bike for his birthday. Was very simple to assemble (he helped) with just a few steps. Has been very durable. He puts every product to the test and this bike has survived it all. Great on tared trails, dirt driveways and even in the grass lawns. Still pedaling smooth and breaks work great. The lights are so fun and he loves to change the colors. The tires make it a very smooth ride and everything is a nice quality. ... show more

    • Front just brakes dont work. Bad value for the $
As other reviews have stated, the brakes on this bike are absolutely horrible. The rear brakes were already installed and somewhat work but not good after some tinkering. The front brakes need to be installed and calibrated. If you dont know exactly what your doing, it is a nightmare. The brakes in general are very cheap and do not work properly. For a $200 bike, I shouldn't have to take it to a bike shop for them to dial in all the brakes. I do not recommend this bike if you do not have experience as a bike technician or putting together bikes. It is very difficult to get the brakes to work properly. I may have to now spend another $50-$100 at a bike shop to have them do the brakes. I 100% do not recommend this bike. For $200 Just go to a local shop and purchase a bike already put together amd ready to go. You'll have a local warranty and somewhere to go if anything happens.
